Product Overview
The T-Robust Mid S7S HRO CI HI LG SC FO SR is a masterclass in safety footwear engineering, designed for those who require maximum protection without compromising on ergonomic comfort. Part of the technical Fortrex collection, this ankle shoe is built to withstand the most demanding industrial environments. Featuring a high-quality, water-resistant Nabutek leather upper and the innovative BOA® closing system, it offers a level of durability and ease of use that standard lace-up boots simply cannot match. It is a substantial and sturdy piece of footwear, designed to provide a stable foundation for a hard day’s work.
Key Features
- BOA® Fit System: This micro-adjustable dial replaces traditional laces, ensuring a precise and consistent fit that won't come undone or cause trip hazards throughout the day.
- SlimCap Toe-Cap: A non-metallic, lightweight alternative to steel, this toe-cap protects against 200 joules of impact while maintaining a slimmer profile and reducing cold bridging.
- Fortrex Puncture Resistance: The patented underfoot protection ensures that sharp objects do not penetrate the sole, meeting the stringent S7S safety standards.
- PRIMALOFT Lining: Known for its exceptional thermal properties, this lining keeps feet warm in sub-zero conditions while remaining breathable to prevent moisture build-up.
- Dry'n Air Footbed: This advanced footbed system promotes air circulation within the shoe, keeping the foot dry and reducing fatigue during long shifts.
Design & Performance
The T-Robust Mid is engineered for high-performance safety. The combination of a PU and Rubber Fortrex sole provides exceptional slip resistance (SR) on both ceramic and glycerin surfaces, alongside a ladder grip (LG) for stability when working at heights. The Nabutek leather upper is treated for water penetration and absorption resistance, ensuring your feet stay dry in inclement weather.
Furthermore, the shoe is designed for extreme temperature regulation. It features cold insulation (CI) effective down to -17°C and heat insulation (HI) up to 150°C. The outsole is also heat resistant (HRO) up to 300°C for short periods of contact, making it a versatile choice for varied climates and terrains. Despite its robust protection, the use of a non-metallic SlimCap ensures the shoe remains balanced and comfortable for extended wear.
Why No Customisation?
At MyWorkwear, we prioritise your safety above all else. This footwear is a complex piece of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 standards. Any modification to the upper, such as embroidery or heat-applied logos, could compromise the integrity of the water-resistant Nabutek leather or damage the internal PRIMALOFT thermal lining. To ensure the shoe performs exactly as the manufacturer intended, we provide this item without customisation.
Use Cases
This footwear is ideally suited for professionals in heavy construction, civil engineering, and the utilities sector. Its thermal properties make it an excellent choice for those working in cold storage or outdoor environments during winter months, while the heat-resistant sole is essential for workers in tarmac or metal fabrication industries.

Practical Advice
The T-Robust Mid is designed with a generous fit, offering a Width 12 for men and 10.5 for women. We recommend wearing these with a high-quality technical work sock to fully utilise the moisture-wicking properties of the Dry'n Air footbed. If you find yourself between sizes, the BOA system allows for enough adjustment that your usual size is typically the best choice.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-performance characteristics of the Nabutek leather, regular cleaning is vital. Allowing mud or grime to dry on the surface can draw out the natural oils, leading to cracking and a loss of water resistance. We recommend wiping the shoes down with a damp cloth after use in harsh conditions.
Avoid drying these shoes near direct heat sources like radiators or heaters. Excessive heat can cause the rubber and PU components of the Fortrex sole to become brittle and may damage the adhesive bonds. Always allow them to air dry naturally in a well-ventilated space.
Regularly check the BOA dial and lace for debris. Ensuring the mechanism is clear of grit will maintain the smooth operation of the closure system and extend the life of your footwear. Finally, inspect the soles periodically for any trapped stones or metal shards to ensure the slip resistance and puncture protection remain effective.
