Product Overview
The Oak S3 SRC is a substantial ankle safety shoe from the Planet collection, engineered to provide a high level of protection without sacrificing wearer comfort. Designed for those who spend long hours on their feet in demanding environments, this footwear meets the rigorous UNI EN ISO 20345:2012 S3 standards, ensuring both safety and durability. With its blend of technical materials and a focus on foot health, it represents a sensible investment for any professional requiring reliable safety footwear.
Key Features
- Aluminium Toe-Cap: Provides protection against up to 200 joules of impact, shielding the foot from heavy falling objects while remaining lighter than traditional steel alternatives.
- Puncture Resistant Sole: Incorporates a Fresh’n Flex midsole to prevent sharp objects from penetrating the bottom of the shoe, essential for construction and industrial sites.
- Water Resistant Upper: Designed to prevent water penetration, keeping feet dry and comfortable during outdoor work or in damp conditions.
- Shock Absorption: Features dedicated cushioning in the heel region to reduce the impact on joints during movement, which is particularly beneficial when walking on hard surfaces.
- Anti-Static and Hydrocarbon Resistant: Minimises the build-up of static electricity and ensures the outsole remains stable and intact when in contact with oils and fuels.
Design & Performance
The performance of the Oak S3 SRC is rooted in its advanced material composition. The upper and outsole utilise Antifatigue AirTech combined with Tpu-Skin technology. This combination creates a flexible, sturdy base that supports the foot's natural movement while reducing the physical strain often associated with heavy-duty footwear. Inside, the SmellStop lining offers an antibacterial and antiodor treatment, which helps maintain a hygienic environment for the foot, even during intense shifts.
The shoe is designed with a specific men’s width, providing a secure and ergonomic fit that prevents unnecessary rubbing or discomfort. The Fresh’n Flex midsole not only provides the necessary puncture protection but does so with enough flexibility to ensure the shoe doesn't feel overly rigid during use.
Why No Customisation?
We do not offer customisation, such as embroidery or heat-applied logos, on the Oak S3 SRC. Modifying the upper of a safety shoe can potentially compromise the structural integrity of the material and its water-resistant properties. To ensure the footwear remains fully compliant with S3 SRC safety certifications and provides the intended level of protection, we supply these items in their original, tested condition.
Use Cases
These shoes are ideal for professionals working in construction, logistics, and engineering where S3 safety standards are a site requirement. They are equally suited for warehouse staff who require a sturdy, puncture-resistant shoe with the added benefit of antifatigue technology for long periods of standing and walking.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, please note that these shoes are designed with a men’s width. We recommend wearing a dedicated work sock with these shoes to ensure the best possible fit and to aid the moisture-wicking properties of the SmellStop lining. If you are between sizes, consider the volume of the socks you intend to wear daily.
Caring for your product
Proper maintenance of your safety footwear is vital to ensure it continues to meet safety standards and lasts as long as possible. Regularly remove dirt and mud from the upper using a damp cloth; allowing mud to dry and remain on the surface can cause the materials to crack over time, which will eventually compromise the water resistance.
Avoid using harsh chemical detergents or bleach when cleaning, as these can damage the Tpu-Skin and degrade the outsole's resistance to hydrocarbons. If the shoes become wet, always allow them to dry naturally in a well-ventilated area. Never place them directly on a radiator or heat source, as excessive heat can make the materials brittle and lead to premature failure of the bonded components.
Finally, inspect the soles regularly to ensure no debris is trapped in the tread, as this can negatively affect the SRC slip resistance performance. Keeping the tread clear ensures you maintain maximum grip on various surfaces.
