Product Overview
This long-sleeved pilot shirt in a professional sky-blue shade is a fundamental component for any uniformed role requiring a sharp, disciplined appearance. As part of our Essential range, this garment is designed to provide a consistent and reliable aesthetic for those in high-responsibility sectors. The shirt combines traditional uniform styling with the practical durability required for daily wear, ensuring the wearer remains comfortable and presentable throughout their duty cycle.

Key Features
  • Long sleeves offer a formal and traditional silhouette that is appropriate for professional settings throughout the year.
  • The sky-blue colour provides a distinct and professional alternative to white, helping to differentiate personnel while maintaining a cohesive team look.
  • The pilot-style design is engineered for functionality, providing a structured appearance that commands respect in security, aviation, and transport environments.
  • A generous size 18 collar ensures a comfortable fit for the wearer, allowing for ease of movement without compromising the garment's sharp lines.

Design & Performance
This shirt is crafted from a medium-weight fabric that offers a balance of breathability and resilience. The material is chosen for its ability to hold a crisp press, which is essential for maintaining a professional image in customer-facing or high-stakes roles. The construction features reinforced seams to ensure longevity, preventing the garment from losing its shape after repeated laundering and long hours of service. The sky-blue hue is dyed using high-quality processes to ensure colour retention, preventing the shirt from looking aged or tired prematurely.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery
To truly complete the professional look, this pilot shirt is ideal for customisation. We recommend embroidery for adding company logos, rank insignia, or staff names; this provides a superior, raised finish that is both durable and elegant. For larger back designs or bold identification, our printing services provide high visibility and clarity. Every piece of customisation is managed by our expert in-house team in Telford, where we have been perfecting branding techniques since 1976.

Use Cases
This shirt is specifically designed for professionals in the aviation industry, including pilots and ground crew, as well as security personnel and those in the maritime or transport sectors. It is also an excellent choice for corporate hospitality teams who require a uniform that suggests authority and competence.

Practical Advice
This shirt is a size 18, referring to the collar measurement in inches. When selecting your size, we recommend measuring your neck and adding a half-inch for comfort. This long-sleeved version is perfectly suited for layering under a uniform jacket or a high-visibility coat, providing a smart base layer that transitions easily from outdoor to indoor duties.

Caring for your product
To maintain the integrity of the fabric and the professional appearance of the shirt, we recommend a standard domestic wash at 40°C. This temperature is sufficient to remove daily grime while protecting the fibres from the stress of high-heat cycles, ensuring the garment lasts longer.Avoid the use of bleach or aggressive chemical cleaners. These substances break down the structure of the fabric and will cause the sky-blue colour to fade, leading to a patchy and unprofessional appearance over time. When drying, it is most effective to hang the shirt while damp. This allows the weight of the water to pull out minor creases naturally, reducing the amount of ironing required. If ironing is necessary, use a medium heat setting to avoid scorching the material and to preserve the crisp finish of the collar and cuffs.
