Product Overview

The Nimbus Women’s Olympia puffer jacket is a technically proficient response to the demands of trans-seasonal weather. Designed to provide reliable warmth without the excessive weight associated with traditional outerwear, this garment utilises featherless insulation to maintain a streamlined silhouette. Its construction focuses on comfort and versatility, making it a staple choice for professionals who require a garment that is as functional as it is presentable.

Key Features

  • Bionic Finish ECO water-repellent treatment: This advanced finish ensures moisture beads off the surface, providing essential protection during light showers while remaining environmentally conscious.

  • Featherless insulation: High-performance synthetic padding provides consistent thermal retention, even when damp, offering a durable and ethical alternative to down.

  • Invisible decoration zipper: A strategic access point that allows for internal branding application, ensuring that embroidery or print finishes do not disrupt the clean internal lining.

  • Secure internal chest pocket: Features a zip closure to provide a safe and easily accessible location for essential tools or personal electronic devices.

Design & Performance

Constructed with a 100% nylon outer shell, the Olympia jacket is engineered to withstand the daily rigours of active work environments. Nylon is selected for its superior strength-to-weight ratio and wind-resistant properties. The interior is lined with smooth polyester, facilitating easy layering over other garments. The tailored fit is designed specifically for the female form, ensuring a professional appearance that does not restrict movement. The lightweight nature of the fabric makes it highly portable, yet the polyester padding provides a substantial barrier against the cold.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This jacket has been designed with customisation in mind. The invisible decoration zipper is a technical highlight, allowing our Telford-based specialists to access the outer shell directly. For a sophisticated and enduring brand presence, we recommend embroidery for logos and staff names. This technique provides a textured, high-quality finish that withstands regular wear. Alternatively, for larger or more complex graphic requirements, heat-applied printing is an excellent option. Since 1976, MyWorkwear has been perfecting these techniques to ensure your branding remains as durable as the garment itself.

Use Cases

The Olympia is ideal for corporate environments, site management, and front-of-house roles where maintaining a smart image is paramount. It is particularly effective as a uniform layer for staff working in varying temperatures, such as those in logistics or hospitality who transition between indoor and outdoor settings. Its professional design ensures it integrates seamlessly into a corporate wardrobe.

Why MyWorkwear

MyWorkwear has been a leader in the technical garment and customisation industry since 1976. Based in Telford, our expert team brings decades of experience to every order. We understand that your workwear is an investment in your brand's image and your team's comfort, which is why we only provide garments that meet our rigorous standards for quality and performance.

Practical Advice

The Olympia jacket offers a comfortable fit designed for layering. We suggest reviewing the size range, which extends from XS (UK size 8) to 3XL (UK size 20), to ensure the best fit for your team. If you plan to wear this jacket over a heavy-weight sweatshirt or knitwear, you may find that selecting one size larger provides optimal comfort and range of motion.

Caring for your product

To maintain the technical integrity of the water-repellent Bionic Finish ECO and the loft of the featherless insulation, proper care is essential. Regular maintenance will prolong the lifespan of the jacket and keep your branding looking sharp.

When washing, always follow the specific temperature instructions provided on the care label to avoid compromising the synthetic fibres. We recommend using a gentle detergent and avoiding fabric softeners, as these can coat the fabric and reduce the effectiveness of the water-repellent finish.

To ensure the jacket retains its shape and insulating properties, it should be dried thoroughly. Avoid high-heat drying methods which can damage the nylon shell; instead, air drying or a low-temperature cycle is preferred to maintain the garment's structural integrity.
