It is important to avoid the use of bleach, as this will weaken the fabric and cause the colours to fade. This garment should not be tumble dried, as the heat can damage the polyester insulation and the stretch properties of the arms. For the same reason, you should not iron this jacket; the nylon and polyester materials are heat-sensitive and could melt or lose their shape if exposed to high temperatures. Dry cleaning is also not recommended, as the chemicals used can strip the fabric of its essential properties.
