Product Overview

The Kustom Kit K742F is a refined, short-sleeved business blouse designed specifically for the professional woman who requires both style and substance. Featuring a tailored fit, this garment provides a contemporary, structured silhouette that remains comfortable throughout a demanding working day. Constructed from a lightweight polycotton poplin blend, it offers a crisp appearance that is well-suited for high-pressure corporate environments or busy hospitality settings.

Key Features
  • Soft Interlined Fused Stand-Up Collar: Provides a sharp, professional frame for the face that maintains its shape even after repeated wear and laundering.
  • Easy-Iron Finish: Minimises maintenance time, ensuring you look pristine with significantly less effort behind the ironing board.
  • Rounded Hem: Offers a versatile finish that looks equally professional when tucked into trousers or worn untucked for a more relaxed aesthetic.
  • Double-Stitched Seams: Reinforced sleeve and side seams ensure the garment can withstand the rigours of daily movement without failing at the stress points.
  • Spare Button: A practical addition included for those minor emergencies, ensuring the longevity of the garment's use.

Design & Performance

This blouse is engineered from a precise blend of 55% cotton and 45% polyester poplin. This combination is intentional: the cotton provides essential breathability and a soft touch against the skin, while the polyester adds necessary durability and resistance to creasing. The result is a lightweight fabric that stays looking fresh for longer.

The technical construction includes a single-needle stitched yoke and armholes, which provides a clean, high-end finish usually reserved for premium shirting. Two curved panels on the front and back help to define the tailored fit, ensuring the garment follows the natural lines of the body without being restrictive.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The K742F is an excellent canvas for customisation. We recommend embroidery for a sophisticated, professional finish; it is particularly effective for company logos or staff names positioned on the chest. The fused collar also provides a stable base for subtle branding.

For larger, more vibrant designs that need to catch the eye, print is a viable option. Our expert team at MyWorkwear has been handling these technical processes at our Telford facility since 1976, ensuring that every stitch or print meets our exacting standards for quality and durability.

Use Cases

This blouse is ideal for any professional setting where a smart appearance is non-negotiable. It is a staple choice for front-of-house staff, corporate office teams, and hospitality professionals who need to maintain a superior appearance while remaining active.

Practical Advice

Available in a wide size range from 6 to 28, this blouse is designed with a tailored fit. If you prefer a more generous cut or intend to layer it heavily, you may wish to consider our size guide carefully to ensure the best fit for your team. It layers perfectly under a structured blazer or knitwear during cooler months.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity of the fused collar and the smooth finish of the poplin fabric, we recommend a machine wash at 40°C using a gentle cycle. Following these temperature guidelines prevents the synthetic fibres from degrading and helps keep your custom branding looking vibrant.

Avoid the use of bleach, as this will weaken the fabric fibres and cause significant discolouration to both the blouse and any embroidery. This garment should not be dry cleaned or tumble dried; air drying is essential to prevent shrinkage and to preserve the easy-iron properties of the material.

When ironing, use a two-dot setting. This provides enough heat to remove any residual wrinkles without risking damage to the polyester content or the custom logos. Proper care ensures the blouse remains a reliable part of your professional wardrobe for a significant period.
