Product Overview

The Brook Taverner Riola crepe de chine Blouse is a sophisticated addition to any professional wardrobe, combining an elegant aesthetic with the practical demands of daily workwear. Designed specifically for the female form, this long-sleeved garment features a refined round neck and intricate front pleat detailing that provides a structured yet fluid silhouette. The inclusion of bust darts ensures a tailored fit that remains comfortable throughout the working day, while the rear gold zip and single gold button cuffs add a touch of understated luxury to the overall design.

Key Features
  • Front Pleat Detail: This design element provides a visual focal point and a sophisticated texture, elevating the blouse beyond a standard uniform item.
  • Bust Darts: These structural seams ensure the garment contours naturally to the body, providing a professional and flattering fit.
  • Gold Hardware: The rear gold zip and single gold button cuffs offer a high-end finish that distinguishes your team in client-facing environments.
  • Easy Care Fabric: Engineered for the modern professional, the fabric is designed to withstand frequent laundering while maintaining its shape and finish.

Design & Performance

Constructed from a blend of 94% Polyester and 6% Elastane, the Riola blouse is a masterclass in functional design. The polyester provides a durable, crease-resistant base that holds its colour and structure, while the elastane provides a subtle stretch. This flexibility is essential for staff who are active throughout their shift, as it allows for a full range of movement without the fabric pulling or becoming uncomfortable. The crepe de chine weave offers a lightweight, breathable feel with a graceful drape that stays looking fresh from morning until evening.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

To truly represent your brand, this blouse is suitable for both print and embroidery. For a formal and prestigious appearance, we recommend embroidery for company logos or staff names; the high-quality thread work integrates seamlessly with the crepe de chine fabric for a professional result. Alternatively, print customisation is an excellent choice for larger, more vibrant branding requirements. All customisation is managed in-house at our Telford facility, where our expert team, drawing on decades of experience, ensures every stitch or print meets our exacting standards.

Use Cases

This blouse is perfectly suited for corporate environments, hospitality front-of-house roles, and high-end retail settings. Its combination of elegance and durability makes it an ideal choice for receptionists, management teams, and service staff who require a garment that reflects the quality of the business they represent.

Practical Advice

The Riola blouse is designed to be versatile; it works exceptionally well when tucked into tailored trousers or a skirt for a formal look, but its design allows it to be worn comfortably under a blazer or waistcoat during colder months. We recommend checking our size guide to ensure the bust darts and tailored fit provide the intended professional silhouette.

Caring for your product

To maintain the performance and appearance of the polyester and elastane blend, we recommend a machine wash at 30°C. Washing at this lower temperature helps to preserve the elasticity of the fabric, ensuring the blouse retains its shape and fit over time without becoming brittle or losing its stretch.

Avoid the use of bleach, as harsh chemicals can degrade the synthetic fibres and cause discolouration, particularly on the crisp white fabric. When drying, it is best to hang the garment immediately after washing to minimise creasing, which often removes the need for heavy ironing, thereby extending the life of your custom branding.
