Product Overview

The Brook Taverner Modena Blouse is a cornerstone of professional ladies' workwear, specifically engineered to provide a sharp, authoritative silhouette while maintaining all-day comfort. Constructed from a cotton-rich fabric, this short-sleeved blouse offers the breathability of a natural fibre combined with the resilience required for a busy workplace. Its classic design and focus on practicality make it an essential choice for organisations that value a consistent and sophisticated corporate image.

Key Features
  • Short sleeve design: Offers enhanced ventilation and freedom of movement, making it suitable for year-round wear in temperature-controlled environments.
  • Cotton-rich composition: The 55% cotton blend ensures a soft handle against the skin and superior breathability compared to purely synthetic alternatives.
  • Easy-care finish: Significantly reduces the time required for laundering, ensuring the garment remains in peak condition with minimal maintenance.
  • Easy-iron technology: Specifically designed to resist stubborn creasing, allowing for a crisp appearance throughout a demanding shift.
  • Machine washable: Provides a cost-effective and convenient solution for high-frequency uniform rotation.

Design & Performance

The Modena Blouse is designed with the professional woman in mind, balancing a tailored aesthetic with a lightweight fabric that doesn't compromise on durability. The inclusion of high-quality polyester alongside the cotton creates a stable weave that retains its shape and colour after repeated washing. This fabric choice is intentional, as it ensures the garment can withstand the rigours of a daily commute and a full day in a fast-paced environment without becoming misshapen or losing its professional edge.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The smooth finish of the Modena Blouse makes it an ideal canvas for custom branding. For a sophisticated and enduring look, our Telford-based team recommends embroidery. This technique is particularly effective for company logos or staff names, providing a textured, high-quality finish that withstands the lifespan of the garment. For larger, more graphic designs, our precision printing services offer vibrant results. Since 1976, MyWorkwear has managed all customisation in-house, ensuring that your branding is applied with technical expertise and attention to detail.

Use Cases

This blouse is highly versatile and is a popular choice for front-of-house staff, corporate office environments, and the hospitality sector. Its clean lines and professional cut make it equally suitable for receptionists, sales professionals, and management teams who require a reliable, smart uniform that remains comfortable during extended periods of wear.

Why MyWorkwear

Practical Advice

When selecting your size, we recommend considering the range of movement required for your specific role; a comfortable fit is paramount for all-day wear. The short sleeves make this blouse an excellent layering piece, fitting neatly under tailored blazers or corporate cardigans during cooler months without adding unnecessary bulk.

Caring for your product

To preserve the structural integrity and aesthetic of your Modena Blouse, it is essential to adhere to the recommended washing instructions. Proper care ensures the fabric remains soft and that any custom embroidery or print maintains its clarity and vibrancy for as long as possible.

We advise utilizing the machine-washable nature of the blouse at the specified settings. Avoid the use of bleach or aggressive chemical detergents, as these can weaken the fibres and lead to premature fading of both the garment and your corporate branding.

The easy-iron practicality of the fabric means that only a light press is required. We recommend ironing on a moderate heat setting to avoid heat damage to the polyester components, which will help maintain the blouse's crisp appearance and ensure it remains a mainstay of your professional wardrobe.
