Product Overview

The Kustom Kit Contrast Premium Oxford Shirt is a sophisticated evolution of the traditional work shirt, designed for those who require a sharper, more contemporary silhouette. This tailored-fit garment moves away from the boxy shapes of standard corporate wear, offering a streamlined profile that remains comfortable throughout a demanding shift. The standout feature is the subtle yet distinct contrast detailing found on the inner collar stand, inner cuff, and cuff placket, providing a modern aesthetic that distinguishes your team from the competition.

Key Features
  • Contrast Detail: The complementary colours on the inner collar and cuffs provide a refined visual interest that elevates the garment’s professional appearance.
  • Easy Iron Finish: Engineered to resist deep creasing, this finish significantly reduces maintenance time, ensuring staff look crisp even after a long day of movement.
  • Button-Down Collar: The fused stand-up collar with button-down points ensures the neck remains structured and sharp, with or without a tie.
  • Adjustable Cuffs: Single-button cuffs provide a secure fit, while the additional option for cufflinks allows for a transition into formal corporate or evening hospitality environments.
  • Reinforced Construction: Double-stitched side and sleeve seams, along with single-stitched armholes and yoke, provide the structural integrity required for repeated wear.

Design & Performance

Fabricated from a refined blend of 85% cotton and 15% polyester, this shirt balances the natural breathability and soft hand-feel of cotton with the resilience of synthetic fibres. The result is a lightweight fabric that allows for excellent airflow, making it an ideal choice for indoor environments or warmer climates. The Oxford weave itself provides a distinctive texture that is both durable and stylish.

Performance is further enhanced by the tailored fit, which prevents excess fabric from bunching under waistcoats or blazers. The rounded hem offers versatility, allowing the shirt to be worn tucked in for a formal look or left out for a slightly more relaxed, modern hospitality aesthetic.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This premium Oxford shirt serves as an exceptional canvas for customisation. Given the high-quality fabric and professional design, we strongly recommend embroidery for your company logo or staff names. Embroidery provides a durable, three-dimensional finish that complements the structured nature of the Oxford weave, ensuring a professional appearance that lasts the life of the garment.

For larger, more vibrant promotional designs, our printing services offer a bold alternative. Whether you choose the classic sophistication of embroidery or the high-impact finish of print, all customisation is managed by our expert in-house team in Telford. With our heritage stretching back to 1976, we ensure that every stitch and every drop of ink meets our rigorous standards before it reaches your door.

Use Cases

This shirt is specifically designed for environments where first impressions are paramount. It is an ideal choice for front-of-house hospitality staff, corporate office teams, and retail professionals who require a step up from standard uniform options. It is also a popular choice for trade shows and events where a cohesive, premium brand image is essential.

Practical Advice

As this is a tailored-fit garment, it is designed to be closer to the body than a traditional 'classic fit' shirt. If you prefer a more generous feel or are between sizes, we recommend reviewing our size guide and potentially sizing up to ensure maximum comfort. The lightweight nature of the fabric makes it perfect for layering under a bespoke embroidered knitwear piece or a smart blazer.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity of the fused collar and the vibrancy of the contrast details, we recommend a machine wash at 30°C using a delicate cycle. Washing at lower temperatures helps to protect the cotton fibres and ensures that any custom embroidery remains tight and secure over time.

The use of bleach must be strictly avoided, as it will break down the fabric fibres and lead to significant discolouration of both the shirt and your branding. Furthermore, this garment should not be dry cleaned, as the harsh chemicals involved can damage the specialised finishes applied during manufacturing.

We advise against the use of a tumble dryer. Air drying is the most effective way to prevent shrinkage and maintain the shirt's tailored shape. To achieve a professional finish, iron the shirt while slightly damp using a two-dot setting; this provides sufficient heat to remove creases from the cotton-rich blend without the risk of scorching the fabric.
