Product Overview

The Brook Taverner Andora Classic Fit Shirt is a masterclass in professional shirting, engineered for those who require a sharp, formal appearance without compromising on comfort. Tailored from 100% superfine cotton, this long-sleeved shirt offers a level of sophistication that is often missing from standard corporate wear. Its classic fit ensures a comfortable range of movement throughout the working day, while the double cuff design adds a touch of executive elegance.

Key Features
  • 100% Superfine Cotton Fabric: This premium natural material provides exceptional breathability and a soft handle against the skin, ensuring comfort during long shifts.
  • Easy-to-Iron Finish: Designed for the busy professional, the fabric is treated to resist excessive creasing, making it significantly easier to maintain a crisp appearance.
  • Removable Metal Collar Stiffeners: These ensure the collar retains its shape and sharp points, preventing the sagging often seen in inferior garments.
  • Taped Seams: This technical detail prevents the seams from puckering after washing, maintaining the shirt's clean lines and structural integrity.
  • Complimentary Silk Cuff Knots: A thoughtful inclusion that allows the double cuffs to be worn immediately, providing a sophisticated alternative to standard buttons.
  • Double Cuff Detail: Offers a formal aesthetic suitable for high-level meetings and corporate environments where first impressions are paramount.

Design & Performance

The Andora shirt is constructed from a lightweight yet durable superfine cotton weave. This choice of material is deliberate; it allows for natural temperature regulation, which is essential for indoor office environments. The inclusion of taped seams is a mark of high-quality garment engineering, ensuring that the shirt remains flat and professional even after multiple laundry cycles. The classic fit is generous without being baggy, providing a professional silhouette that accommodates various body types comfortably.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

To truly represent your brand, this shirt is an ideal candidate for customisation. We highly recommend embroidery for this specific garment; a subtly placed logo on the chest or cuff provides a superior, executive finish that complements the premium cotton fabric. The density of the superfine cotton supports intricate needlework exceptionally well.

While embroidery is the standard for formal shirting, our Telford-based team is also equipped to provide high-quality print for larger, bolder branding requirements. Having managed customisation in-house since 1976, MyWorkwear ensures that every logo is applied with precision, maintaining the professional standard your business demands.

Use Cases

The Andora shirt is perfectly suited for management teams, front-of-house staff in hospitality, and sales professionals. Its formal double-cuff design makes it the preferred choice for corporate events, legal environments, and any role where a high degree of authority needs to be projected. It also coordinates seamlessly with the ladies' Villeta and Ozzero blouses, allowing for a unified team appearance across your entire organisation.

Practical Advice

When selecting your size, remember that the classic fit is designed to offer a traditional, comfortable silhouette. If you prefer a more contemporary, slim look, you may wish to consider the measurements carefully. This shirt is designed to be worn with a blazer or suit jacket, and the double cuffs are specifically intended for use with the provided silk knots or your own personal cufflinks.

Caring for your product

To ensure this premium cotton shirt remains a staple of your wardrobe, it is important to follow the care instructions diligently. Maintaining the superfine fibres is essential for both the longevity of the garment and the vibrancy of your embroidered logo.

The garment is machine washable. We recommend using a gentle cycle and avoiding harsh detergents that can break down natural cotton fibres over time. It is vital to remove the metal collar stiffeners before washing to prevent damage to both the shirt and your washing machine.

As an easy-to-iron garment, it is best ironed while slightly damp to achieve the smoothest possible finish with minimal effort. Consistent high-heat drying should be avoided to prevent the taped seams from losing their integrity and to ensure the cotton remains soft and breathable.
