Caring for your product
To ensure the continued performance and safety compliance of your high-visibility garment, it is important to follow professional maintenance routines.
When washing, use a mild detergent and avoid any products containing optical brighteners or biological agents. These chemicals can degrade the fluorescent dyes in the polyester, which will eventually lower the garment's visibility and safety rating.
Do not use bleach. Bleaching agents will cause immediate damage to the fluorescent properties of the fabric and can compromise the integrity of the reflective tapes, making the garment unsafe for use in restricted environments.
We recommend line drying this hoodie. Tumble drying at high temperatures can cause the heat-applied reflective bands to crack or delaminate, reducing the garment's effectiveness in low-light conditions. Should you need to iron the garment, avoid direct contact with the reflective strips, as heat will melt the reflective elements and ruin the finish.
