Product Overview

The SF Kids Sustainable Fashion Hoodie is a well-engineered garment designed for the modern, eco-conscious market. By blending regenerated cotton with recycled polyester, this hoodie provides a medium-weight feel that is both soft to the touch and environmentally responsible. The design features a contemporary relaxed fit, distinguished by a unique droptail hem that is curved high at the front and lower at the back, offering a more refined silhouette than standard square-cut hoodies. As a brand-free garment, it serves as a clean canvas for business branding, making it an excellent choice for organisations looking to align their corporate identity with sustainable practices.

Key Features
  • Regenerated Fabric Blend: Utilising 60% regenerated cotton and 40% recycled polyester, this hoodie provides a comfortable, breathable experience while reducing the demand for virgin materials.
  • Unique Droptail Hem: The curved high-front and low-back hem design offers enhanced coverage and a modern aesthetic that stands out from traditional workwear.
  • Kangaroo Pocket: A classic functional feature that provides a convenient space for carrying small essentials or warming hands during outdoor tasks.
  • Dropped Shoulders and Set-in Sleeves: These design elements ensure a relaxed fit, allowing for a full range of movement and a comfortable drape over the torso.
  • Single Jersey Hood Lining: The internal hood lining provides a smooth finish against the head and neck, increasing overall wearer comfort.
  • Tonal Topstitching: Subtle stitching details provide a clean, professional finish and reinforce the garment's structural integrity.

Design & Performance

Engineered for durability and daily wear, the fabric composition of this hoodie ensures it maintains its shape through regular use. The medium-weight construction makes it versatile for year-round wear, providing enough warmth for cooler mornings without being overly restrictive. The inclusion of recycled polyester adds a level of resilience and colour retention to the natural softness of the cotton, ensuring the garment remains professional in appearance even after repeated laundering. The ribbed hem and cuffs are designed to retain their elasticity, preventing the sleeves from sagging and ensuring a secure fit at the waist.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This hoodie is specifically designed for easy rebranding. The absence of external branding allows your logo to take centre stage. For a professional and long-lasting finish, we recommend embroidery for smaller logos or names. Embroidery provides a textured, high-quality look that is exceptionally durable. Alternatively, for larger, more vibrant designs, our high-quality print services are ideal. Whether you choose print or embroidery, our expert Telford-based team, who have been perfecting garment customisation since 1976, will ensure your branding is applied with precision.

Use Cases

This sustainable hoodie is perfectly suited for school uniforms, youth sports teams, and eco-conscious promotional events. It also serves as an excellent addition to the uniform of family-run businesses or community groups where a cohesive, professional, yet relaxed appearance is required. Given its sustainable credentials, it is an ideal choice for organisations with a strong focus on environmental responsibility.

Practical Advice

The relaxed fit of this hoodie makes it an ideal layering piece. For the best aesthetic, we recommend wearing it over a simple t-shirt. When selecting sizes, please refer to our size guide, which covers age groups from 7/8 up to 11/12, to ensure a comfortable and professional fit for all wearers.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and appearance of this sustainable garment, we recommend a machine wash at 30°C on a synthetic cycle. Washing at lower temperatures helps to preserve the recycled fibres and ensures the garment stays in peak condition for longer.

Do not use bleach when cleaning this hoodie. Bleaching agents are too aggressive for the regenerated cotton blend and will cause the colour to fade and the fabric to weaken prematurely.

If ironing is required, please use a low setting. This prevents any potential damage to the synthetic polyester components and ensures the fabric remains smooth without scorching. Do not tumble dry this item; instead, allow it to air dry naturally to prevent shrinkage and maintain the unique shape of the curved hem.

For deep cleaning, this product can be dry cleaned using any solvent except Trichloroethylene. This allows for professional maintenance of the garment while avoiding chemicals that are too harsh for the specific fabric blend.
