Product Overview
The UX Polo from Uneek Clothing is a well-engineered garment designed to provide a balanced combination of comfort and longevity for the modern workforce. This unisex polo shirt serves as a dependable foundation for any professional uniform, bridging the gap between casual comfort and a structured appearance through its thoughtful composition and contemporary cut.
Key Features
- A balanced blend of 50% polyester and 50% cotton ensures the garment is both breathable and resistant to daily wear and tear.
- The fabric is reactive dyed, which ensures the colour remains deep and consistent even after multiple high-temperature laundry cycles.
- An enzyme-washed finish provides a significantly softer handle, reducing the initial stiffness often found in new workwear.
- The knitted collar and taped neck provide essential structural integrity, preventing the neckline from stretching or losing its shape over time.
- A contemporary fit offers a modern silhouette that provides a professional appearance without restricting the wearer's movement.
Design & Performance
Constructed with a 50/50 fabric composition, the UX Polo is designed to withstand the rigours of a busy working environment. The polyester component provides essential tensile strength and crease resistance, which is vital for maintaining a clean look throughout a shift. Meanwhile, the cotton content ensures the fabric remains breathable and comfortable against the skin. The reactive dyeing process is a technical highlight; by bonding the pigment directly to the textile fibres, the garment effectively resists the fading often caused by domestic or industrial laundering.
Further attention to detail is evident in the finishing; the hemmed sleeves and bottom provide a clean, professional edge that prevents fraying. The three self-coloured button placket adds a subtle, uniform aesthetic that avoids visual clutter, making it an ideal canvas for company branding.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The stable, medium-weight surface of the UX Polo makes it an excellent candidate for both print and embroidery. Embroidery is recommended for company logos or staff names, providing a sophisticated, textured finish that projects a superior professional image and withstands heavy use. For larger, high-impact branding on the back of the garment, our high-quality printing methods ensure your graphics remain clear and vibrant.
Every customisation is handled by our expert in-house team in Telford. Since 1976, we have refined our processes to ensure that your branding is applied with precision, ensuring that the final product meets your exact specifications and represents your business accurately.
Use Cases
Given its durable construction and contemporary fit, this polo is ideal for a wide range of sectors including facilities management, retail, and light engineering. It is equally at home as a standalone garment for client-facing roles or as a comfortable base layer under a sweatshirt or softshell jacket during cooler months.

Practical Advice
The contemporary fit of the UX Polo is designed to be more tailored than traditional, boxy workwear. If your role involves significant physical reaching or if you prefer a more generous fit, you may wish to consider selecting one size larger than your usual measurement. This garment layers exceptionally well and maintains its profile when worn under heavier outerwear.
Caring for your product
To maintain the structural integrity and colour density of your polo, we recommend a wash at 60°C. This temperature is sufficient to remove most occupational grime and oils while respecting the integrity of the polyester-cotton fibres.
We advise against the use of harsh bleaching agents, as these will compromise the reactive dyes and eventually weaken the fabric structure. To preserve the contemporary fit and the quality of any custom embroidery or print, air drying is recommended; however, if you must use a tumble dryer, ensure a low-heat setting is selected to prevent unnecessary shrinkage.
