Product Overview
The Uneek Clothing UC122 Jersey Poloshirt represents a refined alternative to the standard piqué knit, providing a smoother and softer hand-feel that is more akin to a high-quality t-shirt but with the formal structure of a polo. Crafted from 100% cotton, this medium-weight garment is engineered for comfort and breathability, making it an excellent choice for indoor work environments or active roles where a natural fibre is preferred over synthetics. Its clean lines and classic fit ensure a professional appearance that remains consistent throughout the working day.
Key Features
- 100% Cotton Composition: The use of pure cotton provides natural moisture-wicking properties and breathability, ensuring the wearer remains comfortable during long shifts.
- Reactive Dyed Fabric: This garment has been reactive dyed to ensure superior colour fastness, preventing the fabric from fading or bleeding after multiple laundry cycles.
- Taped Neck: The inclusion of a taped neck seam adds structural integrity to the garment, preventing the neckline from stretching or losing its shape with regular wear.
- Knitted Collar and Cuffs: These knitted elements are designed to hold their form, offering a sharp, professional look that resists the 'curling' often seen in lower-quality alternatives.
- 3 Self-Coloured Button Placket: The matching buttons provide a cohesive and understated aesthetic, allowing the focus to remain on your company branding.
Design & Performance
The design of the UC122 focuses on durability and a flat-surface finish. Because it is a jersey knit rather than a textured piqué, the fabric is exceptionally smooth to the touch and offers a flatter profile against the body. This construction choice not only enhances comfort but also makes the garment more resistant to snagging. The hemmed sleeves and bottom provide a secure finish that won't fray, ensuring the poloshirt maintains its professional standard even in demanding roles.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The flat jersey knit of this poloshirt makes it a versatile canvas for customisation. For a traditional and durable professional appearance, embroidery is the preferred choice for company logos and individual names, as the tight knit provides a stable base for high-density stitching. Alternatively, the smooth surface of the jersey fabric is particularly well-suited for printing, allowing for sharp details and vibrant colours in larger designs. Our expert team in Telford, established in 1976, manages all customisation in-house to ensure your branding is executed with precision.
Use Cases
This poloshirt is highly recommended for the hospitality sector, retail staff, and event management teams who require a garment that is softer than a standard work polo. It is also an excellent option for tradespeople who prefer the breathability of 100% cotton when working in climate-controlled environments.

Practical Advice
This is a medium-weight garment. If you are working in colder conditions, it layers effectively under a jumper or softshell jacket without adding excessive bulk. As this garment is 100% cotton, we recommend following the care instructions closely to ensure it retains its original fit and feel.
Caring for your product
To preserve the life of your garment and the quality of your branding, we recommend a domestic wash at 40°C. Washing at this temperature effectively removes dirt while protecting the cotton fibres from the premature wear associated with hotter cycles.
Do not use bleach or aggressive cleaning agents. These chemicals can break down the reactive dyes and weaken the natural cotton fibres, leading to a loss of colour vibrancy and reduced fabric strength.
We advise air drying rather than tumble drying. High heat in a dryer can cause natural cotton to shrink and may negatively affect the adhesion of printed logos. When ironing, please do so on a medium heat and ensure you iron on the reverse of any customised areas to prevent damage to the branding.
