Design & Performance
This jacket is constructed from a heavy-duty 300 Denier 100% polyester fabric. This is a substantial, sturdy garment designed to withstand the physical demands of site work. The PU coating acts as a robust barrier against wind and rain, while the internal padding ensures comfort throughout the day. The inclusion of two 50mm wide retro-reflective strips, which are stitched rather than heat-pressed, enhances the longevity of the garment's safety features, ensuring they remain secure even after repeated wear.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The UC804 is designed with customisation in mind, featuring a specific embroidery access point at the hem. This allows our Telford-based team to apply your company logo without compromising the internal lining or the jacket's thermal properties. Embroidery provides a superior, professional finish that is highly durable for logos and staff names. Alternatively, for large-scale branding or safety messaging, print customisation offers high-impact visibility. Having managed customisation in-house since 1976, MyWorkwear ensures your branding is applied with technical precision.
Use Cases
This jacket is essential for professionals working in rail (orange version), construction, logistics, and emergency services. Its high-visibility rating makes it suitable for environments where machinery and vehicles are in constant motion, while its waterproof and padded nature makes it ideal for year-round outdoor use.

Practical Advice
As this is a padded bomber jacket, it offers a generous fit. We recommend considering the layers you intend to wear underneath, such as a sweatshirt or fleece, when selecting your size. Ensure the reflective strips are not obscured by tool belts or high-reach harnesses to maintain full safety compliance.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility performance and waterproof integrity of this jacket, we recommend a domestic wash at 40°C. Washing at higher temperatures may damage the PU coating and reduce the effectiveness of the waterproof taped seams.
Avoid the use of bleach or harsh chemical detergents. These substances can strip the high-visibility pigment from the polyester and degrade the glass beads within the reflective strips, significantly reducing your visibility in low-light conditions.
This garment is rated for up to 25 washes. Following this, the reflective and fluorescent properties may fall below certified safety standards. We advise regular inspection of the garment to ensure it still meets the safety requirements of your specific site or industry.
