Product Overview
The Uneek UC112 Classic Cotton Poloshirt is a sophisticated choice for those who require a professional appearance without sacrificing the natural comfort of pure cotton. Constructed from 100% ring spun combed cotton, this medium-weight poloshirt offers a superior level of softness and a refined finish. The attention to detail is evident in the knitted collar and cuffs, which provide structural integrity, while the reactive dye process ensures the Bottle Green hue remains deep and consistent through repeated wear.
Key Features
- 100% Ring Spun Combed Cotton: By combing the cotton, shorter fibres are removed, leaving only the longest and strongest strands for a smoother, more durable fabric.
- Reactive Dyed: This process ensures the colour is locked into the fibres, preventing the garment from looking tired and faded after a few weeks on the job.
- Enzyme Washed: This treatment results in an exceptionally soft feel against the skin and reduces the likelihood of pilling, keeping the garment looking newer for longer.
- Knitted Collar and Cuffs: These elements are designed to hold their shape, ensuring your team maintains a smart, professional silhouette throughout the working day.
- Taped Neck: Added reinforcement at the neck seam increases durability and prevents the garment from stretching out of shape during physical activity.
Design & Performance
Performance in workwear is often defined by how a garment handles the transition from a busy morning to a long afternoon. The UC112 excels here due to the breathable nature of its combed cotton construction. Unlike synthetic blends, 100% cotton allows for excellent air circulation, making it a comfortable choice for indoor environments or as a reliable base layer. The three-button placket features self-coloured buttons for a clean, cohesive aesthetic that works well in any corporate or service setting.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The high-quality, tight knit of the ring spun cotton makes this poloshirt an ideal candidate for customisation. For a truly professional and long-lasting finish, we recommend embroidery. The fabric is robust enough to support intricate logos and text, providing a premium feel for staff uniforms. If you require large-scale branding for events or promotional use, the smooth surface is also perfectly suited for high-definition printing. All customisation is managed by our experienced in-house team in Telford, ensuring the same quality we have delivered since 1976.
Use Cases
This poloshirt is particularly popular within the hospitality and retail sectors, where a smart-casual appearance is necessary. It is also an excellent choice for corporate office staff who require a comfortable uniform that still projects a professional image. Due to its natural fibres, it is frequently chosen by those working in customer-facing roles where presentation and comfort are equally weighted.

Practical Advice
The UC112 is designed with a classic fit. If you are between sizes, we recommend considering how you intend to wear the garment; for a more tailored look, you might choose the smaller size, whereas those requiring greater freedom of movement for manual tasks may prefer a looser fit. The natural cotton fabric will provide a slight amount of natural give over time.
Caring for your product
To maintain the structural integrity and colour of your poloshirt, we recommend a domestic wash at 40°C. This temperature is sufficient for removing standard dirt while protecting the natural cotton fibres from the damage associated with higher heat cycles.
Avoid using bleach or harsh chemical detergents. These agents will aggressively strip the reactive dye from the cotton and weaken the fibres, significantly shortening the lifespan of your uniform. To keep the garment in its best condition, air drying is preferred. If you must use a tumble dryer, select a low heat setting to minimise any potential for shrinkage.
When ironing, use a medium setting. If your poloshirt has been customised with print or embroidery, always iron on the reverse of the design to prevent damage to the branding, ensuring your company logo remains in pristine condition.
