Product Overview
The Stanley/Stella Prepster 2.0 long sleeve polo shirt represents a sophisticated evolution of a classic wardrobe staple. Crafted from 100% organic combed ringspun cotton, this medium-weight garment offers a premium feel that transitions seamlessly from customer meetings to active work environments. Its modern fit and long sleeves provide a polished appearance while maintaining the comfort expected of a high-quality cotton piece. As a sustainable choice, it meets rigorous environmental and ethical standards, making it an excellent option for businesses looking to align their uniform with their corporate social responsibility goals.
Key Features
- Set-in sleeves ensure a natural, tailored fit around the shoulders, providing a professional silhouette that moves with the wearer.
- The flat knit rib collar is designed to maintain its shape over time, preventing the sagging often seen in inferior alternatives.
- A front placket features two colour-matched buttons, offering a clean, minimalist aesthetic suitable for various corporate identities.
- Side seam slits with heavy jersey facing allow for increased mobility and ensure the garment sits comfortably over the hips, whether tucked in or worn out.
- The fabric has been pre-washed during production, which significantly reduces the risk of shrinkage, ensuring the size you buy remains the size you wear after washing.
Design & Performance
This polo shirt is engineered for longevity. The use of combed ringspun cotton creates a smoother, stronger yarn, which results in a softer feel against the skin and a more durable fabric structure. The medium-weight density provides enough substance to feel protective and high-quality without being overly heavy for indoor work. Attention to detail is evident in the single-needle topstitching at the shoulder seams and the narrow double-needle topstitch at the bottom hem, both of which reinforce the garment at its most stressed points to prevent unravelling.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The Prepster 2.0 is an exceptional canvas for branding. For a traditionally professional finish, we recommend embroidery; our Telford-based team can apply intricate logos or staff names with precision, creating a look that is both durable and prestigious. Alternatively, the smooth surface of the organic cotton makes it highly suitable for high-quality printing, which is ideal for larger, more vibrant designs that need to stand out. Since 1976, MyWorkwear has refined the art of customisation, ensuring your brand is represented exactly as intended with our in-house expertise.
Use Cases
This garment is perfectly suited for customer-facing staff who require a balance between casual comfort and professional decorum. It is equally at home in a showroom, a corporate office, or as part of a premium hospitality uniform. The long sleeves and medium-weight fabric make it a versatile choice for staff working in varying temperatures or during seasonal transitions where a short-sleeved alternative might not suffice.

Practical Advice
With a size range spanning from XXS to 3XL, this unisex garment accommodates a wide variety of body types. When selecting your size, consider that the medium fit is designed to be contemporary and sit relatively close to the body; if you prefer a more relaxed feel or intend to layer it over other garments, you may wish to size up. The 1x1 rib at the sleeve hems ensures the sleeves stay in place even when you are active.
Caring for your product
To ensure your polo shirt retains its professional finish and structural integrity, we recommend a domestic machine wash at 30°C. Washing at higher temperatures can lead to premature fading of the fabric and may affect the longevity of any custom branding.
Bleaching should be strictly avoided. The harsh chemicals in bleach will break down the organic cotton fibres and irreversibly damage the colour of the garment. Similarly, dry cleaning is not recommended as the chemical processes can be too aggressive for organic cotton.
When ironing, please use a maximum temperature of 110°C and avoid ironing directly over any printed areas to prevent damage to the design. Tumble drying should be avoided to prevent potential shrinkage and to ensure the collar and cuffs maintain their original shape.
