Caring for your product
To ensure your shorts maintain their integrity and that any custom branding remains sharp, proper maintenance is essential.
We recommend a machine wash at 40°C with similar colours. Using excessively high temperatures can damage the combed cotton fibres and cause the silicone finish to degrade prematurely, leading to a loss of that premium feel.
Avoid the use of chlorine and bleach. These chemicals are too harsh for the fabric blend and will strip the colour from the shorts, leaving them looking tired and unprofessional.
When it comes to drying, use a low tumble dry setting. High heat in the dryer is the primary cause of elastic failure in waistbands and can negate the benefits of the pre-shrunk fabric.
Crucially, if your shorts have been printed, do not iron over the customisation. High heat from an iron will melt the print material, likely transferring it to your iron and permanently damaging the garment. If ironing is necessary, iron on the reverse at a cool temperature.
