Design & Performance
Constructed from a 100% polyester pongee fabric, this vest is built for longevity and performance. The pongee weave offers a smooth, durable finish that is highly resistant to the daily wear and tear encountered on the job. The interior lining, also 100% polyester, ensures the garment glides easily over base layers or sweatshirts, facilitating a full range of movement. Despite its lightweight feel, the synthetic down fill provides a substantial thermal barrier, making it an excellent choice for active work where heavy coats would prove cumbersome.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The Sierra Thermal Vest includes specific decoration access, making it a prime candidate for company branding. For a truly professional and long-lasting finish, we recommend embroidery. It is the ideal method for displaying corporate logos and staff names, offering a textured, premium appearance that survives frequent laundering. If you require large, bold graphics for high visibility or promotional campaigns, our high-quality printing services provide a crisp and vibrant alternative. Our Telford-based team, who have been leading the industry since 1976, handle all customisation in-house to ensure the highest standards are met.
Use Cases
This vest is perfectly suited for professionals in logistics, site management, and the service industry. It provides the necessary core protection for those moving between vehicles and warehouses or for outdoor staff who require maximum arm mobility. It also serves as a sophisticated branded uniform for corporate events and outdoor exhibitions, where maintaining a professional image is as important as staying warm.

Practical Advice
The Sierra vest is available in a comprehensive range of sizes from XS (8) to 3XL (20). When selecting your size, consider the garments you intend to wear beneath it. If you plan to layer this over heavy hoodies or thick work shirts, you may find that sizing up provides a more comfortable fit and allows for better articulation of the arms during physical tasks.
Caring for your product
To maintain the structural integrity of the polyester pongee and the effectiveness of the thermal insulation, we recommend a cold machine wash on a gentle cycle. Washing at lower temperatures prevents the synthetic fibres from becoming brittle and helps preserve the water-repellent finish.
It is vital that you do not use fabric softeners. These chemicals can coat the technical fibres, significantly reducing the loft of the synthetic down and compromising the vest's ability to trap heat. Avoid the use of bleach, as this will degrade the fabric and cause the colour of both the garment and your custom branding to fade prematurely.
After washing, the vest should be hung to dry. Do not tumble dry, as the intense heat can damage the windproof membrane and cause the synthetic fill to clump. Do not iron the garment, especially over any areas with print or embroidery, as this will lead to permanent damage. This garment is not suitable for dry cleaning.
