Caring for your product
Maintaining the technical membranes and water-repellent finishes of your shell is essential for its long-term performance.
We recommend a machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle with similar colours. Using cold water protects the H2XTREME membrane from heat damage and prevents the recycled fibres from weakening. It is vital that you do not use fabric softeners, as these chemicals can clog the breathable pores of the fabric and strip away the water-repellent coating, effectively turning your waterproof jacket into a sponge.
Avoid using bleach, as this will degrade the polyester and cause the colour to fade. For drying, use a low-temperature tumble dry setting or hang the garment to air dry. Excessive heat can damage the seam-sealing tape and waterproof zips. If ironing is necessary, use a low setting and avoid any areas with print or embroidery to prevent the decoration from melting or peeling. Finally, do not dry clean this garment, as the solvents used in the process are too harsh for the technical shell.
