Product Overview

The Stormtech Patrol technical softshell jacket is a calculated choice for the professional who requires a balance between weather protection and ease of movement. Engineered from a robust polyester fabric, this medium-weight jacket serves as a versatile outer layer that maintains a sharp, professional silhouette without the unnecessary bulk often associated with heavy outdoor workwear.

Key Features
  • Technical softshell construction: This design provides a sophisticated barrier against the elements, ensuring you remain comfortable during outdoor site visits or transitions between locations.
  • Full-zip front: The high-quality zip allows for effortless temperature regulation and easy layering over your existing uniform.
  • 100% Polyester composition: This synthetic fibre is chosen for its resilience and ability to retain its shape, even after a demanding week on the job.
  • Contrast colour panels: Available in professional combinations like Black/Carbon and Black/Electric, these details ensure your team stands out for the right reasons.

Design & Performance

This is a well-engineered garment designed for those who do not have the luxury of staying indoors when the weather turns. The medium-weight fabric provides enough substance to feel protective while remaining light enough to allow for a full range of motion. Unlike heavy, restrictive coats, the technical softshell moves with the wearer, making it particularly suitable for active roles where agility is as important as appearance.

The 100% polyester finish is not only durable but also resists the typical wear and tear of a busy workday. The inclusion of subtle contrast accents ensures that functionality does not come at the expense of style, allowing your team to maintain a cohesive and superior finish across various roles. This jacket is built to last, with the polyester fibres offering a high degree of durability and moisture management.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This item is available with both print and embroidery customisation to suit your branding requirements.

Embroidery delivers a textured, premium appearance that is ideal for company logos and individual names. It is a particularly durable option that stands up to repeated washing without fading, ensuring your brand remains sharp over time. For those requiring large, bold designs or a broader colour range, our printing service is an excellent alternative.

Our in-house team, established in 1976, handles all customisation at our facility in Telford. This allows us to maintain strict quality control and ensure that your professional appearance is in expert hands.

Use Cases

The Patrol jacket is ideally suited for site managers, surveyors, and delivery professionals who require essential equipment that looks as good in a client meeting as it does on a construction site. Its professional appearance also makes it a strong candidate for corporate events or as part of a high-end delivery uniform for staff who are frequently on the move.

Practical Advice

Available in sizes ranging from Small to 3XL, this jacket is designed with a male fit in mind. For the best results, we recommend wearing it over a breathable polo shirt or a base layer. This allows the technical properties of the softshell to manage your body temperature effectively while providing enough room for comfortable movement without feeling constricted.

Caring for your product

To ensure your technical softshell continues to perform as intended and maintains its professional appearance, following the specific care instructions on the internal label is essential. Neglecting these guidelines can lead to a breakdown of the fabric's protective properties and may affect the longevity of the technical bonding within the softshell.

We recommend laundering the garment as per the manufacturer's directions to ensure that your custom embroidery or print remains vibrant and intact. Proper care prevents the degradation of the polyester fibres, ensuring the jacket remains a staple of your working wardrobe for as long as possible.
