Product Overview

The Stanley/Stella Archer hoodie sweatshirt represents a superior standard in modern workwear, combining ethical manufacturing with high-quality construction. As a medium-fit, unisex garment, it provides a versatile silhouette that suits a broad range of body types, making it an excellent choice for teams seeking a unified and professional appearance. Crafted from a blend of organic ringspun combed cotton and recycled polyester, this sweatshirt feels substantial to the touch while maintaining a commitment to environmental responsibility.

Key Features
  • Double-layered hood: Constructed from self-fabric to provide enhanced structure and warmth compared to single-layer alternatives.
  • Round drawcords with metal tipping: The closed metal tipping prevents fraying and adds a sophisticated, durable finish to the garment.
  • Kangaroo pocket: A classic front pocket design that offers practical storage and hand warmth for those working in cooler environments.
  • Twin-needle topstitching: Located at the armhole, sleeve hem, and bottom hem, this reinforced stitching ensures the seams remain intact even under regular physical activity.
  • Herringbone back neck tape: This detail provides extra comfort against the skin and helps the hoodie maintain its shape over time.

Design & Performance

The fabric composition is a thoughtful blend of 85% organic ringspun combed cotton and 15% recycled polyester. This medium-weight material offers the breathability of natural fibres alongside the durability and shape retention provided by recycled synthetics. The combed nature of the cotton removes impurities and short fibres, resulting in a smoother, stronger yarn that provides a superior surface for branding.

Performance is further enhanced by the 1x1 rib at the sleeve and bottom hems, which ensures a snug fit that keeps warmth in and prevents the garment from riding up during movement. The inclusion of a self-fabric half-moon at the back neck adds a premium internal finish and provides an ideal area for custom internal labelling if required.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The Archer hoodie is designed to be a versatile canvas for your company branding. Our expert team in Telford, established in 1976, can apply both print and embroidery to this garment with precision. Embroidery is recommended for a sophisticated, traditional finish, particularly for company logos or staff names, as the fabric's tight weave supports intricate thread work without puckering.

Alternatively, for large-scale promotional designs or bold back-prints, our high-quality printing techniques are ideal. The smooth, combed cotton surface ensures that ink adheres evenly, resulting in vibrant colours and crisp lines that represent your brand accurately. Whatever your choice, we handle every stage of the process in-house to ensure the highest standards.

Use Cases

This hoodie is well-suited for a variety of professional settings, from creative studio environments and retail spaces to corporate events where a more relaxed but professional dress code is required. Given its sustainable credentials, it is also an excellent choice for businesses looking to align their uniform choices with their corporate social responsibility goals.

Practical Advice

As a medium-fit unisex garment, we recommend reviewing the sizing guide carefully to ensure the best fit for all team members. For those who prefer a more relaxed or oversized feel, ordering one size up may be appropriate. This hoodie works exceptionally well as a standalone outer layer in mild weather or as an insulating mid-layer beneath a waterproof jacket in harsher conditions.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and the quality of your custom branding, we recommend a domestic wash at 30°C. Higher temperatures can lead to fabric shrinkage and may degrade the bond of printed designs over time.

Do not tumble dry this garment. Natural air drying is essential to prevent the polyester fibres from hardening and to ensure the cotton remains soft and comfortable for the wearer.

When ironing, please do so inside out and never apply direct heat to any printed areas. Direct contact with an iron can cause prints to melt or peel, while ironing inside out protects the exterior finish and any embroidered logos from heat damage.

Finally, always wash similar colours together to prevent dye transfer, ensuring your team's uniforms remain bright and professional after every wash cycle.
