Product Overview

The Stanley/Stella Slammer 2.0 Vintage represents a sophisticated evolution of the classic hoodie, combining a relaxed, streetwear-inspired silhouette with high-specification construction. Crafted from 100% organic combed ringspun cotton, this heavyweight sweatshirt is part of a premium range designed for those who require both style and substance. The garment-dyeing process gives each item a unique, vintage appearance with subtle shading at the seams, ensuring your professional apparel stands out from standard off-the-shelf options. Its oversized fit provides a modern aesthetic while maintaining the comfort and durability required for daily wear.

Key Features
  • 100% Organic Combed Ringspun Cotton: This choice of fabric ensures a superior softness against the skin and a more stable surface for customisation compared to standard cotton blends.
  • Double-Needle Topstitching: All seams are reinforced with double-needle stitching, providing significant structural integrity and preventing the garment from losing its shape under stress.
  • 2x1 Rib at Cuffs and Hem: The high-quality ribbing at the extremities ensures the hoodie retains a secure fit and prevents stretching over time, even with frequent use.
  • Inside Herringbone Back Neck Tape: This detail adds a clean finish to the interior while preventing irritation and providing extra reinforcement to the neck area.
  • Self-Fabric Half Moon: Located at the back neck, this feature provides a professional area for internal branding and adds to the garment's premium feel.

Design & Performance

Performance in a workspace environment is about more than just movement; it is about how a garment holds up to repeated wear and the elements. The Slammer 2.0 Vintage utilizes a heavyweight fabric that provides substantial warmth and a reassuring sense of quality. Because it is garment-dyed, the hoodie has already undergone a shrinking process during production, which helps maintain its size and shape after you receive it. The set-in sleeves provide a structured shoulder line that balances the oversized body fit, ensuring the wearer looks professional rather than simply untidy.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This hoodie is an exceptional canvas for both print and embroidery, though the garment-dyed nature requires an expert hand. Embroidery is highly recommended for those seeking a prestigious, textured finish; the heavyweight fabric supports high-stitch-count logos without puckering, making it ideal for corporate branding or staff names. For larger, more graphic designs, our printing techniques provide vibrant results. However, because of the vintage wash, we take extra care to ensure the inks bond perfectly with the organic fibres. Our Telford-based team, who have been perfecting these techniques since 1976, handle every stage of the process to ensure your branding looks as premium as the garment itself.

Use Cases

The Slammer 2.0 Vintage is perfectly suited for creative agencies, modern retail environments, and premium event merchandise where a standard uniform would feel too rigid. It is also an excellent choice for independent brands looking for high-quality, sustainable blanks that feel like a luxury product rather than a promotional item. The unisex design ensures a consistent look across a diverse team.

Practical Advice

As this is an oversized garment, we recommend reviewing the sizing guide carefully. If you prefer a more traditional, closer fit, you may wish to consider one size smaller than your usual choice. The heavyweight nature of the fabric makes it an ideal outer layer for spring and autumn, or a substantial mid-layer for colder winter conditions.

Caring for your product

To maintain the integrity of the organic cotton and the unique garment-dyed finish, we recommend a machine wash at 30°C. Washing at higher temperatures can cause the vintage dyes to fade prematurely and may affect the structural fibres of the cotton.

Avoid the use of bleach at all costs, as this will strip the colour and damage the fabric's strength. When ironing, stick to a maximum temperature of 110°C and avoid direct contact with any printed areas to prevent the design from melting or distorting.

This garment should not be tumble dried. Allowing it to air dry naturally prevents shrinkage and ensures the oversized fit remains true to its original design. Finally, do not dry clean this hoodie, as the harsh chemicals used in the process are incompatible with organic cotton and garment dyes.
