Product Overview

The B&C My Polo 180 LSL is a modern classic long-sleeved polo shirt, engineered for businesses that require a balance of professional style and physical comfort. Crafted from 100% optimum pre-shrunk ringspun cotton, this garment features a high-density fine piqué weave. This specific fabric choice ensures a soft hand-feel and a smooth, even surface that is ideal for customisation. The long-sleeved design provides additional coverage, making it a versatile choice for various working environments throughout the year.

Key Features
  • The 1x1 rib collar is perfectly constructed to retain its shape over time, preventing the common issue of a sagging or curling neckline.
  • The 1x1 rib cuffs are integrated with dimensionally-stable elastane, ensuring the sleeves stay securely at the wrist and maintain their elasticity through repeated wear.
  • A contemporary two-button reinforced placket provides a clean, professional appearance and added durability in a high-stress area.
  • Shoulder seams are reinforced with tape, while the neck is finished with comfortable neck tape to ensure the garment holds its structure during active use.
  • The ultra-soft satin labelling is designed to be non-intrusive, reducing irritation against the skin for the wearer.

Design & Performance

This medium-weight polo is designed for those who require their workwear to perform as well as it looks. The use of ringspun cotton creates a more durable and softer fabric than standard cotton alternatives. Because the fabric is pre-shrunk, the garment is less prone to the distortion or shortening that often occurs after the first few laundry cycles. The high-density piqué weave not only feels substantial to the touch but also provides the stability needed for a garment that will be worn and washed frequently as part of a professional uniform.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The B&C My Polo 180 LSL is a highly flexible garment for branding. The high-density fine piqué surface has been tested and approved for all standard printing techniques, ensuring that even complex, multi-coloured logos appear bright and crisp. For a more traditional and premium finish, the stable fabric weight provides an excellent foundation for embroidery, allowing company logos or staff names to be applied with high stitch density and precision.

At MyWorkwear, our Telford-based team has been providing expert customisation services since 1976. We manage the entire process in-house, ensuring that your branding meets our rigorous quality standards before it reaches your door.

Use Cases

This long-sleeved polo is particularly well-suited for hospitality staff, corporate events, or for tradespeople who prefer a smarter alternative to a sweatshirt during the cooler months. Its professional cut and reinforced details make it appropriate for customer-facing roles where maintaining a superior business image is essential.

Practical Advice

Available in a broad size range from Small to 5XL, this polo is designed with a 'Duo Concept' to suit various body shapes across a workforce. The long sleeves offer protection and warmth, making it an excellent layering piece under a gilet or waterproof jacket when working outdoors.

Caring for your product

To ensure your polo remains in peak condition, we recommend a domestic wash at 40°C. This temperature is sufficient to remove everyday dirt while protecting the integrity of the cotton fibres and ensuring your custom branding remains vibrant.

When drying, use a low heat setting on the tumble dryer. High heat can cause the cotton to become brittle and may lead to gradual shrinkage. Avoid using bleach, as it will weaken the fabric and cause the colour to fade. This garment is not suitable for dry cleaning.

If the garment requires ironing, use a medium heat setting to remove creases. It is essential that you do not iron directly over any printed or embroidered decoration. Excessive direct heat can damage the print film or melt the embroidery threads, which will negatively impact the professional look of your uniform.
