Product Overview
The Stanley/Stella Mini Bolter kids' shorts represent a premium approach to youth leisurewear, combining sustainable manufacturing with a robust design suitable for daily activities. These jogger-style shorts are engineered to provide a reliable canvas for branding while ensuring the wearer remains comfortable throughout the day. By using a blend of organic and recycled materials, these shorts meet high ethical standards without compromising on the tactile quality expected of high-end garments.
Key Features
- The self-fabric elastic waistband ensures a secure and adaptable fit, allowing for ease of movement during active use.
- Round drawcords in a matching body colour feature metal tipping, providing a refined finish and preventing the cord from fraying or disappearing into the waistband.
- Strategically placed front pockets and a rear patch pocket offer practical storage for small essentials, mimicking the functionality of adult garments.
- Embroidered eyelets add a touch of reinforced detail, ensuring the drawcord exit points remain durable over time.
- A wide double-needle topstitch on the bottom hem provides a clean, professional finish that resists unravelling even after repeated wear.
Design & Performance
Constructed from a sophisticated blend of 85% organic ringspun combed cotton and 15% recycled polyester, the fabric offers a soft, premium feel against the skin. The medium-weight material provides enough substance to hold its shape while remaining breathable for active children. The inclusion of recycled polyester adds structural integrity and helps the shorts recover their shape after washing. The ringspun combing process removes shorter fibres, resulting in a smoother surface that is particularly well-suited for high-definition customisation and long-term durability.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The Mini Bolter is an excellent candidate for both print and embroidery, and our Telford-based team has been perfecting these techniques since 1976. For a traditional, professional appearance, embroidery is recommended for school or club logos, providing a textured, long-lasting finish that withstands the rigours of the playground. If your design is larger or requires bold, vibrant colours, our high-quality printing process ensures the artwork remains sharp and clear. Every customisation is handled in-house, ensuring the final product meets our rigorous quality control standards before it reaches you.
Use Cases
These shorts are ideal for junior sports clubs, school activity kits, or as part of a branded summer uniform for youth organisations. Their durability and professional finish also make them a popular choice for promotional events where a cohesive team appearance is required for all age groups, from toddlers to teenagers.

Practical Advice
When selecting sizes, please refer to the specific age-based range which covers children from 3/4 years up to 12/14 years. For a cohesive look across a whole group, these shorts pair excellently with organic cotton t-shirts or sweatshirts, creating a complete branded outfit that is both sustainable and practical for various activities.
Caring for your product
To maintain the structural integrity and the vibrancy of your custom branding, we recommend a domestic wash at 30°C. Washing at lower temperatures is not only better for the environment but also prevents the organic cotton fibres from shrinking prematurely and helps maintain the fabric's soft handle.
You should avoid using a tumble dryer for these shorts. The high heat of a dryer can damage the recycled polyester fibres and cause the custom print or embroidery to degrade, warp, or lose its adhesive bond over time. Air drying is the most effective way to preserve the garment's shape and branding.
When ironing, ensure the garment is turned inside out and avoid direct contact with any printed areas. Direct heat can melt print materials, leading to peeling or cracking. Washing with similar colours is also essential to prevent dye transfer, and keeping the garment inside out during the wash cycle further protects the surface of your custom logo.
