Product Overview

The Stanley/Stella Kids Mini Cultivator 2.0 represents a modern evolution of the iconic children's zip-thru hoodie sweatshirt. This garment has been meticulously redesigned to offer a superior medium fit and is now constructed from 100% organic ringspun combed cotton with a brushed finish for exceptional softness. By aligning its colour palette with the adult version, it provides a cohesive look for families or teams, while the updated fabric surface ensures even better results for custom branding than its predecessor.

Key Features
  • 100% Organic Ringspun Combed Cotton: This premium fabric choice offers a softer hand-feel and higher durability compared to standard cotton, while supporting sustainable farming practices.
  • Self-Fabric Lined Hood: Provides a clean, professional finish and adds an extra layer of warmth and comfort around the head and neck.
  • 1x1 Ribbed Cuffs and Hem: The wide ribbing at the sleeve and bottom hem ensures the garment retains its shape and provides a secure fit during movement.
  • Twin-Needle Topstitching: Positioned at the hem, cuffs, and armholes, this reinforced stitching increases the longevity of the garment by preventing seam failure under stress.
  • Tear-Out Tag: Allows for easy rebranding or improved comfort by removing the internal label to prevent skin irritation.

Design & Performance

Designed with a modern medium fit, the Mini Cultivator 2.0 strikes the perfect balance between comfort and a professional appearance. The brushed interior of the medium-weight fabric provides a soft, insulating layer that traps heat, making it an ideal choice for cooler environments. The set-in sleeves offer a structured silhouette that doesn't restrict movement, while the high-quality zip ensures reliable daily use. This is not just a basic sweatshirt; it is a well-engineered garment built for the demands of active children and the requirements of high-end customisation.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This hoodie is specifically engineered to achieve high-quality decoration results. For those seeking a traditional and sophisticated appearance, embroidery is highly recommended for school logos or club names. The stable, organic cotton weave supports dense thread counts without puckering, ensuring a crisp finish that lasts the lifetime of the garment.

Alternatively, the smooth surface of the ringspun cotton is an excellent substrate for printing, allowing for large, bold designs that remain vibrant. Our expert in-house team at our Telford facility has been handling professional customisation since 1976, ensuring that every application meets our rigorous standards for quality and durability.

Use Cases

This zip-thru hoodie is an ideal choice for school uniforms, children's sports clubs, or as high-quality merchandise for family-oriented events. Its professional finish also makes it suitable for promotional wear where a premium, sustainable image is required. Thanks to its matching adult counterpart, it is frequently used for consistent branding across multi-generational teams or staff and their families.

Practical Advice

The Mini Cultivator 2.0 is available in sizes ranging from 3/4 to 12/13 years. As it features a medium fit, we suggest checking the sizing guide carefully if you intend for it to be worn over multiple layers. For children who are between sizes, opting for the larger size can offer more longevity as they grow, without compromising the structured look of the hoodie.

Caring for your product

To maintain the performance and appearance of this organic garment, it should be machine washed at 30°C. Washing at lower temperatures helps preserve the integrity of the cotton fibres and prevents unnecessary fading of the fabric and custom branding.

We recommend washing similar colours together to prevent dye transfer and always washing the garment inside out. This simple step protects the outer surface and any print or embroidery from abrasion during the wash cycle.

Do not tumble dry this hoodie, as high heat can lead to shrinkage and damage the cotton's soft texture. When ironing, do so on the reverse side and never iron directly over printed areas, as this will cause the design to melt or peel. Following these instructions ensures your investment remains in peak condition for as long as possible.
