Product Overview

The Stanley/Stella Kids Mini Cruiser 2.0 is an evolution of a classic, designed specifically for younger wearers who require both comfort and durability. This iconic hoodie has been modernised with a medium-weight fabric that balances warmth with breathability. Crafted from 100% organic cotton, it offers a soft, premium feel that is gentle on the skin while standing up to the rigours of daily activities. The updated design features a modern medium fit and wider ribbing, providing a contemporary look that mirrors the adult version for a cohesive team or family appearance.

Key Features
  • 100% Organic Ringspun Combed Cotton: This premium material provides a smoother surface for branding and a softer feel against the skin compared to standard cotton.
  • Double Self-Fabric Lined Hood: The reinforced hood construction ensures it retains its shape and provides extra warmth and comfort.
  • 1x1 Rib at Hem and Cuffs: The wider ribbing provides a secure fit that prevents the sleeves from riding up and helps the garment maintain its silhouette.
  • Twin-Needle Topstitching: Reinforced stitching at the armholes, cuffs, and hem ensures the garment can withstand the stresses of frequent wear without fraying.
  • Single-Needle Topstitch at Neckline: A subtle but professional finish that adds structural integrity to the neck area.

Design & Performance

The performance of the Mini Cruiser 2.0 lies in its high-quality construction. The use of ringspun combed cotton means the fibres have been twisted and thinned to create a smoother, stronger yarn. This results in a fabric surface that is exceptionally soft to the touch and provides a superior canvas for branding. The brushed interior offers thermal insulation, making it an excellent choice for cooler environments where maintaining body heat is essential. Sustainability is at the heart of the design, backed by GOTS and Fair Wear certifications, ensuring the garment is as ethical as it is functional.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This hoodie is an ideal candidate for both print and embroidery, and our Telford-based team has been perfecting these techniques since 1976. For a professional, high-end look suitable for school clubs or corporate family events, embroidery is the preferred choice for logos and names, offering a durable and three-dimensional finish. If you require large, vibrant designs or promotional graphics, the smooth organic cotton surface is perfectly suited to high-quality printing. We manage the entire process in-house to ensure your branding meets our rigorous standards.

Use Cases

The Mini Cruiser 2.0 is versatile enough for school uniforms, youth sports teams, or as part of a professional staff kit for family-oriented businesses. Its durable nature makes it suitable for active outdoor play, while the modern fit ensures it looks smart enough for more formal team appearances or promotional events.

Why MyWorkwear

With nearly five decades of experience, MyWorkwear understands that workwear—even for children—must be reliable. Based in Telford, our expert team combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. When you choose us, you are benefiting from a heritage of quality that began in 1976, ensuring your customised garments are handled with professional care and technical expertise.

Practical Advice

As this is a medium fit, it sits closer to the body than a traditional oversized hoodie. If you intend for the wearer to layer heavily underneath, you may wish to consider sizing up. The tear-out tag is a thoughtful addition for children with sensory sensitivities or for those wishing to rebrand the garment entirely.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and the vibrancy of your customisation, we recommend a machine wash at 30°C. Higher temperatures can cause natural cotton fibres to shrink and may degrade the adhesive properties of printed designs over time.

Always wash and iron the garment inside out. This simple step protects the outer surface and any embroidered or printed logos from the abrasive action of the washing machine drum and the direct heat of the iron, extending the life of your branding.

We advise washing with similar colours to prevent any dye transfer, particularly with the deep and vibrant colour palette of this range. Do not iron directly over any printed areas, as the heat will damage the graphic. Finally, do not tumble dry this hoodie; air drying is the safest method to ensure the organic cotton remains soft and the garment maintains its original shape.
