Product Overview
The Kids Mini Changer 2.0 iconic crew neck sweatshirt from Stanley/Stella represents a significant evolution in premium children's workwear and teamwear. This modernised version of a classic silhouette is now constructed from 100% organic cotton, providing a superior surface for decoration and a comfortable feel for the wearer. Designed with a modern medium fit, it offers a professional and tidy appearance suitable for various organisational needs while ensuring children have the freedom of movement they require.
Key Features
- 100% Organic Ringspun Combed Cotton: The use of combed cotton ensures the fabric is exceptionally soft against the skin and provides a smooth, consistent surface that is ideal for high-quality branding.
- Brushed Interior: The interior of the fabric is brushed, which traps air to provide thermal insulation and a soft, fleece-like texture for all-day comfort.
- 1x1 Ribbing at Collar, Cuffs, and Hem: These elastane-reinforced sections ensure the sweatshirt retains its shape and elasticity over time, preventing the garment from becoming baggy after repeated wear.
- Twin-Needle Topstitching: Positioned at the hem, cuffs, and armholes, this double-stitched finish provides structural reinforcement at the points of highest stress, ensuring the garment survives the rigours of school or club activities.
- Self-Fabric Half Moon: Located at the back neck, this detail provides additional internal structure and offers a premium finish for those who wish to add internal branding.
- Tear-out Label: This feature allows for easy rebranding or simply prevents neck irritation for children with sensitive skin.
Design & Performance
The Mini Changer 2.0 has been engineered with a focus on durability and aesthetic longevity. The fabric is a substantial, medium-to-heavyweight material that provides warmth without being overly bulky. Because the cotton is ringspun and combed, the individual fibres are aligned and smoothed, which significantly reduces pilling and ensures the garment looks newer for longer. The wider ribbing at the hem and cuffs provides a more modern, structured look compared to standard children's sweatshirts, while the precise single-needle topstitch at the collar adds a refined technical touch.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This sweatshirt has been specifically optimised for decoration. The high-density knit of the organic cotton provides a stable canvas for both screen printing and digital transfer methods, ensuring colours remain vibrant and lines stay sharp. For organisations seeking a more traditional and prestigious finish, the fabric's weight and weave are perfectly suited for embroidery. Our in-house team at our Telford facility, established in 1976, utilises advanced machinery to ensure your logos are applied with precision. Embroidery is often the preferred choice for school crests and club logos, providing a three-dimensional, durable finish that withstands industrial laundering.
Use Cases
Given its high-quality construction and eco-conscious credentials, the Mini Changer 2.0 is an excellent choice for school uniforms, junior sports club kits, and high-end promotional merchandise. It is also well-suited for family-focused business events where a cohesive 'family look' is required, as the colour palette is designed to align perfectly with the adult Changer 2.0 sweatshirt.

Since 1976, MyWorkwear has been providing technical expertise in garment customisation from our base in Telford. We understand that workwear for children needs to be as robust as that for adults. Our decades of experience ensure that we select only the finest garments, like those from Stanley/Stella, and apply branding that is built to last.
Practical Advice
This sweatshirt features a modern medium fit. For children who prefer a more relaxed or 'oversized' feel, or for those between sizes, we recommend opting for the larger size to allow for layering over t-shirts or school shirts. The organic cotton fabric is robust but will benefit from being washed with similar textures to maintain its smooth exterior.
Caring for your product
To maintain the structural integrity and colour vibrancy of this organic cotton garment, we recommend a machine wash at 30°C. Washing at lower temperatures is not only more environmentally friendly but also prevents the organic fibres from being damaged by excessive heat.
Always wash and iron the garment inside out. This protects the outer surface from friction during the wash cycle and ensures that any custom print or embroidery is not directly exposed to the heat of the iron, which could cause the branding to degrade or melt. We advise against the use of tumble dryers; air drying is the best way to prevent potential shrinkage and preserve the fit of the sweatshirt.
When laundering, ensure similar colours are washed together to prevent colour transfer. Avoid using bleach or harsh chemical detergents, as these can break down the organic cotton fibres and fade the vibrant dyes used in the Stanley/Stella palette.
