Product Overview

The SOL'S Unisex Condor Hoodie is a thoughtfully designed garment that balances modern style with environmental responsibility. As a medium-weight pullover, it serves as a versatile layer for a variety of professional and recreational settings. The inclusion of recycled polyester within the fabric blend demonstrates a commitment to sustainable workwear without compromising on the soft, comfortable feel expected from a premium hoodie. Its unbranded size label at the neckline makes it an excellent choice for businesses wishing to provide a clean, uniform look for their staff or for those looking to create their own branded apparel line.

Key Features
  • Drop shoulder style: This design provides a more relaxed fit and increased freedom of movement, which is particularly beneficial for active tasks.
  • Brushed back fleece: The interior fabric is treated to create a soft, plush texture that provides excellent thermal insulation and comfort against the skin.
  • Double fabric hood with self-colour lace drawcord: A reinforced hood design that offers a more substantial feel and a cohesive, professional aesthetic.
  • Taped neck: This feature reinforces the seam between the hood and the body, preventing the garment from losing its shape and increasing its overall lifespan.
  • Front pouch pocket: A practical addition for warming hands or storing small tools and personal items during the working day.
  • 2x2 ribbed cuffs and hem: These high-quality ribs ensure a snug fit that keeps warmth in and helps the garment retain its structure after repeated wear.

Design & Performance

This hoodie is constructed from a blend of 80% cotton and 20% recycled polyester, providing a durable yet breathable finish. The medium-weight fabric is substantial enough to offer warmth during cooler shifts while remaining light enough to be worn under a jacket in more severe weather. The performance of the garment is backed by several prestigious certifications, including OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and PETA-Approved Vegan status, ensuring that the materials are safe for the wearer and produced ethically. The 2x2 ribbing on the cuffs and hem is engineered to resist sagging, maintaining a sharp silhouette even after long hours of physical labour.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The smooth, high-quality surface of the Condor Hoodie makes it a superior choice for customisation. For businesses seeking a long-lasting and sophisticated appearance, embroidery is highly recommended for logos and staff names; it provides a textured, professional finish that withstands industrial laundering. For those requiring large, vibrant designs or promotional graphics, our printing services offer excellent detail and colour reproduction. Our in-house team in Telford has been perfecting these techniques since 1976, ensuring every garment we produce meets our high standards of excellence.

Use Cases

The unisex design and wide range of features make this hoodie suitable for diverse environments. It is a popular choice for school and university leavers' hoodies, festive uniform collections, and general sports apparel. Its professional appearance also makes it suitable for warehouse staff, delivery drivers, and tradespeople who require a comfortable but cohesive team uniform.

Why MyWorkwear

Since 1976, MyWorkwear has been a trusted partner for businesses across the UK. Operating from our base in Telford, we combine decades of heritage with modern production techniques. We understand that your workwear is an investment in your brand, which is why we handle all customisation in-house to ensure the highest levels of quality control and customer service.

Practical Advice

The drop shoulder design offers a slightly more generous fit than a traditional sweatshirt. If you are between sizes or prefer a more fitted look, you may wish to size down. For those working in outdoor roles, this hoodie layers exceptionally well over a moisture-wicking base layer and under a waterproof shell.

Caring for your product

To maintain the appearance and functionality of your hoodie, we recommend a standard domestic wash at moderate temperatures. This ensures the brushed fleece interior remains soft and the cotton-rich exterior stays smooth and free from pilling.

It is important to avoid using bleach or harsh chemical detergents, as these will degrade the recycled polyester fibres and cause the colours of both the garment and your custom branding to fade. When drying, air drying is preferable to maintain the elasticity of the ribbed cuffs and hem; if you must use a tumble dryer, ensure it is on a low-heat setting to prevent any shrinkage.
