Product Overview

The Russell Athletic Women's Softshell Jacket is a substantial and dependable outer layer designed specifically for the professional woman. Rather than settling for a generic, oversized fit, this garment provides a tailored silhouette that ensures a smart appearance without compromising on the utility required for a busy working day. It serves as a reliable barrier against the elements, ensuring you remain comfortable and professional regardless of the weather's unpredictability.

Key Features
  • Heavyweight Fabric: The substantial polyester blend provides superior insulation and wind resistance, keeping you comfortable during outdoor tasks.
  • Tailored Female Fit: Designed specifically for the female form, this jacket ensures a professional look and better freedom of movement than unisex alternatives.
  • Inclusive Sizing: Available from XS to 4XL, allowing every member of your team to benefit from a consistent and well-fitting uniform.
  • Professional Colour Palette: Choose from classic shades like French Navy, Black, Bottle Green, or Titanium to align perfectly with your company branding.

Design & Performance

Constructed from a sturdy polyester blend, this softshell jacket is engineered for longevity. The material is dense enough to provide a significant barrier against the wind, yet flexible enough to move with you as you work. Unlike thinner alternatives, the weight of this jacket suggests a well-engineered garment that is built to last, resisting the daily wear and tear of a demanding work environment.

The fabric's finish is both smart and practical, maintaining its shape and colour even after extensive use. The inclusion of modern materials ensures that while the jacket is substantial, it remains comfortable enough to wear throughout a full shift without restriction.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This item is available with both print and embroidery customisation to suit your branding needs.

Embroidery delivers a textured, premium appearance that is ideal for company logos and individual names. This method is particularly durable, standing up to repeated washing cycles without fading or losing its sharp finish. For those seeking a long-term professional look, embroidery is a superior choice.

Alternatively, print customisation is better suited to larger, bold designs or logos that require a broader range of colours. It provides a smooth finish that makes complex graphics stand out clearly across the back or chest of the garment.

Whichever method you choose, our expert in-house team handles all customisation. Based in Telford and established in 1976, MyWorkwear brings decades of experience to every garment we finish.

Use Cases

This jacket is an excellent choice for site supervisors, logistics professionals, or any team member who splits their time between the office and the outdoors. It provides enough protection for site visits while maintaining a smart enough profile for client meetings. It is also a staple for delivery drivers and outdoor event staff who require a uniform that looks as good as it performs.

Why MyWorkwear

At MyWorkwear, we have been perfecting the art of professional clothing since 1976. Operating from our base in Telford, we combine traditional expertise with modern techniques to ensure your team looks the part. We understand that workwear isn't just a uniform; it's an essential piece of equipment that helps you do your job effectively.

Practical Advice

This jacket is designed as a heavyweight outer layer. For maximum warmth during the winter months, we recommend layering it over a breathable polo shirt or a sweatshirt. Given the broad size range from XS to 4XL, we suggest reviewing your team's requirements to ensure everyone receives the most comfortable fit for their specific role.

Caring for your product

To maintain the performance and professional appearance of your softshell jacket, consistent and correct care is essential. Proper maintenance ensures the fabric's protective qualities remain intact and your branding stays sharp for the long term.

When washing, ensure you follow the specific guidance on the internal care label. Failure to adhere to recommended temperatures can lead to the breakdown of the polyester fibres, potentially reducing the jacket's lifespan and its ability to shield you from the elements.

Avoid using harsh chemicals or bleaches, as these can strip the fabric of its finish and cause significant discolouration to both the garment and any embroidered or printed logos. We recommend air drying rather than tumble drying to preserve the shape and integrity of the material.
