Product Overview
The Result Urban Outdoor Women's Ice Bird Padded Jacket is a sophisticated interpretation of the classic puffa style, specifically engineered for the modern professional. Designed with a beautifully tailored, contemporary fit, this jacket provides significant thermal insulation without the restrictive bulk often associated with outdoor outerwear. It features a fitted waist that ensures a sharp, professional silhouette while maintaining the mobility required for active work environments.
Key Features
- Stand-up collar with chin guard: The integrated chin guard prevents the zip from irritating the skin, ensuring comfort during extended shifts in cold conditions.
- Hand-filled polyester fibre: This premium insulation method provides an exceptionally soft handle and superior warmth while remaining remarkably lightweight.
- Secure storage: Zipped front pockets and an additional zipped internal chest pocket provide safe locations for essential tools and personal devices.
- Weather resistance: The outer fabric is both windproof and water-repellent, offering essential protection against the unpredictable British elements.
- Adjustable shockcord hem: Allows the wearer to seal in heat and customise the fit to prevent draughts.
Design & Performance
Constructed with a 100% 20D Nylon outer and lining, the Ice Bird jacket is engineered for both durability and comfort. The fabric is specifically designed to be quiet to wear, removing the distracting 'rustle' often found in synthetic outerwear. The inner storm flap provides an additional barrier against wind penetration through the main zip, while the soft elasticised cuffs ensure a comfortable seal at the wrists. The fashionable quilting design isn't just for aesthetics; it ensures the substantial insulating fill remains evenly distributed for consistent thermal performance.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This jacket is an excellent canvas for corporate branding. For a professional and enduring finish, we recommend embroidery on the left chest. The garment is thoughtfully designed with a decorator's access point at the inner lower back and the left chest zip, allowing our expert team to apply your logo without compromising the jacket's lining. While embroidery offers a premium, 'proper' look for corporate identity, print is also an option for those requiring larger, high-impact branding. Every customisation is handled in-house at our Telford facility, where we have been perfecting workwear since 1976.
Use Cases
The Ice Bird jacket is perfectly suited for customer-facing roles, site visits, and management personnel who require a professional appearance without sacrificing warmth. Its lightweight nature also makes it an ideal choice for staff who are frequently in and out of vehicles, such as delivery professionals or mobile technicians.

Practical Advice
As this jacket features a contemporary, fitted waist, we recommend reviewing our sizing guide carefully if you intend to wear heavy knitwear or multiple layers underneath. Its lightweight construction also makes it easy to pack, which is ideal for staff who travel between different locations.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-performance handle and thermal properties of this jacket, it is essential to follow the care instructions precisely. We recommend a domestic wash at 30°C. Using higher temperatures can damage the synthetic nylon fibres and the integrity of the hand-filled insulation.
Do not use bleach, as this will degrade the fabric strength and cause significant discolouration to your custom branding. Ironing must be avoided entirely; the heat will melt the nylon outer and flatten the polyester filling, destroying the jacket's insulating properties.
Furthermore, do not tumble dry or dry clean this garment. Natural air drying is the best way to ensure the jacket retains its shape and technical performance over time.
