Product Overview
The Result Core Junior Rain Suit is a robust, two-piece protective solution designed to withstand the unpredictable nature of the British weather. Engineered for more demanding outdoor activities, this set includes both a waterproof jacket and matching trousers, providing full-body coverage against wind and rain. Constructed from StormDri 2000 polyester with a specialized PVC coating, it offers a reliable barrier that keeps younger users dry without the bulk of traditional heavy outerwear.
Key Features
- Fully Taped Seams: Every internal seam is sealed to prevent water ingress, ensuring the wearer remains dry even during persistent downpours.
- Integrated Foldaway Hood: The elasticated hood can be stowed within the collar when not in use, offering versatile protection that adapts to changing conditions.
- Reflective Cuff Detail: Subtle reflective elements on the cuffs enhance visibility in low-light environments, providing an essential safety feature for school runs or outdoor trips.
- Storm Cover Fastening: The full-length zip is protected by a stud-closing storm cover, creating a secondary defence against wind-driven rain.
- Hip Vents: The trousers feature clever side openings that allow the wearer to access pockets in their primary clothing underneath without removing the waterproof layer.
Design & Performance
The performance of this rain suit lies in its technical fabric composition. The 190T StormDri 2000 polyester is lightweight yet substantial enough to resist tearing during active use. The internal PVC coating provides the primary waterproof barrier, while the inclusion of mesh ventilation at the back of the jacket ensures air can circulate, reducing the build-up of moisture inside the garment. Design touches like the watershed shoulders and adjustable snap-closing ankles further refine the fit, ensuring the suit performs as intended in wet environments.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
Despite its technical coating, this rain suit is well-suited for various branding methods. Embroidery is an excellent choice for school crests or club logos on the chest, providing a traditional and durable finish that withstands regular use. For larger, more vibrant designs—such as event branding or safety messaging—digital transfer or direct printing is highly effective. All customisation is performed by our expert in-house team in Telford, drawing on nearly five decades of experience since our founding in 1976.
Use Cases
This suit is ideal for junior sports clubs, school field trips, and outdoor education centres where reliable weather protection is non-negotiable. It is also a practical choice for businesses looking to provide branded wet-weather gear for junior apprentices or family-oriented corporate events.

Practical Advice
The sizing ranges from XS (ages 3/4) up to XL (ages 11/12). When choosing a size, consider the layers that will be worn underneath; this suit is designed to be worn as an outer shell, so a slightly more generous fit is often preferable for ease of movement. The elasticated waistband and adjustable cuffs help to secure the garment regardless of the layers beneath.
Caring for your product
To maintain the waterproof integrity and life of the PVC coating, we recommend a gentle domestic wash at 30°C. Using higher temperatures can degrade the taped seams and weaken the fabric's protective properties.
Do not use fabric softeners or biological washing liquids, as these chemical agents can strip away the waterproof coating and damage the technical fibres of the StormDri polyester.
Avoid any form of heat during the drying process. Do not iron or tumble dry this garment, as the heat will melt the PVC coating and compromise the taped seams. This product should also not be dry cleaned or bleached, as the harsh chemicals will cause the fabric to become brittle and lose its windproof capabilities.
