Because it is a lightweight fabric, we recommend layering it over thermal base layers or a fleece during colder months to provide the necessary warmth. Caring for your product
To maintain the technical performance and waterproofing of the Isolite fabric, it is vital to follow specific care instructions. We recommend a cool machine wash using Regatta Isotex cleaner or a pure soap. Conventional detergents and fabric conditioners must be avoided, as they contain chemicals that can strip away the water-repellent coating and damage the fabric's breathability.
Before washing or drying, ensure all zips and hook-and-loop fastings are fully secured to prevent snagging or damage to the fabric surface. After washing, ensure the garment is rinsed very well to remove any soap residue.
For drying, use a light tumble dry only or air dry. If ironing is required, use a cool setting on the outer side only. To maintain the garment's effectiveness over time, we recommend reproofing the outer fabric regularly with a water-repellent spray. Finally, keep the suit away from solvents, alcohols, insecticides, and direct sunlight during storage, as these can degrade the synthetic fibres.
