Product Overview
The Regatta Professional Tyler bodywarmer is a refined interpretation of a traditional outdoor staple, blending classic aesthetics with technical performance. Constructed from quilted micro poplin with a water-repellent finish, this garment is designed to provide core warmth without the restrictive bulk of a full jacket. It features a diamond quilt pattern that houses efficient insulation, making it an ideal choice for professionals who require a sophisticated appearance while maintaining comfort in cooler environments.
Key Features
- Water-Repellent Micro Poplin: The outer fabric is engineered to shed light rain, ensuring the wearer remains dry during brief exposure to the elements.
- Thermo-Guard Insulation: This synthetic insulation technology traps air within its fibres to provide significant warmth, effectively regulating body temperature.
- Lower Patch Pockets with Side Entry: These dual-access pockets provide secure storage for essential tools while offering a fleece-lined side entry to keep hands warm during stationary tasks.
- Studded Back Vents: The inclusion of adjustable vents at the rear allows for increased mobility and airflow, ensuring the garment moves with the wearer rather than against them.
- Internal Zipped Access: A discrete internal side seam zip is specifically designed to allow for easy embroidery access, ensuring a clean finish for your company branding.
Design & Performance
The Tyler bodywarmer is built using a lightweight fabric that provides substantial thermal protection without adding unnecessary mass. The exterior micro poplin is durable enough to withstand the rigours of daily professional use, while the smooth polyester taffeta lining ensures the garment glides easily over base layers or knitwear. The diamond quilt design is not merely for show; it serves to keep the insulation evenly distributed, preventing cold spots and ensuring consistent heat retention across the torso.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This bodywarmer is an excellent canvas for corporate branding, supporting both print and embroidery. For those seeking a distinguished, high-end finish, embroidery is the recommended choice for chest logos or staff names, benefitting from the internal zipped access which hides the reverse of the stitching for a superior internal finish.
If your branding requires larger, high-contrast graphics, our printing processes can be applied to the back of the garment. All customisation is managed by our expert in-house team in Telford, who have been perfecting workwear branding since 1976 to ensure your logo is reproduced with absolute precision.
Use Cases
The professional yet traditional design makes this bodywarmer suitable for a wide range of roles, from site managers and surveyors to transport and delivery personnel. It is particularly effective for those who frequently move between a vehicle and the outdoors, providing just the right amount of insulation for active transitions.

Practical Advice
This bodywarmer is designed with a classic fit, providing enough room to be worn comfortably over a medium-weight sweatshirt or a formal work shirt. When selecting your size, consider the layers you intend to wear underneath; if you frequently wear heavy fleeces, you may wish to verify your measurements against our sizing guide to ensure an optimal fit.
Caring for your product
To maintain the performance and professional appearance of your bodywarmer, it is important to follow the recommended care routine. Maintaining the fabric's integrity ensures the water-repellent coating remains effective for as long as possible.
We recommend a full machine wash at standard temperatures. You must avoid the use of bleach, as harsh chemicals will degrade the synthetic fibres of the micro poplin and can cause permanent damage to your embroidered or printed branding.
This garment should not be tumble dried. High heat from drying machines can warp the quilted structure and damage the Thermo-Guard insulation. Instead, allow the bodywarmer to air dry naturally. If necessary, a cool iron may be used, but the garment must not be dry cleaned, as the solvents used in that process can strip the technical finishes from the fabric.
