Product Overview

The ProRTX Pro three-layer softshell jacket is a dependable choice for those who need a professional appearance without sacrificing protection from the elements. Designed to be both functional and smart, this jacket offers a clean silhouette that works just as well on a construction site as it does in a client meeting. The medium-weight construction ensures it provides a substantial barrier against the wind without being overly restrictive.

Key Features
  • Three-layer bonded fabric: This technical construction provides an effective barrier against the wind while maintaining a breathable feel, ensuring you stay comfortable throughout the working day.
  • 100% Polyester composition: The use of durable polyester ensures the garment is hard-wearing and resistant to the general scuffs and scrapes of daily labour.
  • Extensive size range: Available from XS to 5XL, this jacket is designed to provide a consistent professional look for entire teams, regardless of build.
  • Core colour palette: Available in Black, Charcoal, and Navy to suit most corporate identities and maintain a clean, professional aesthetic.

Design & Performance

Constructed from a medium-weight polyester, this softshell jacket provides a substantial feel that inspires confidence in its durability. The three-layer system is specifically engineered to offer wind resistance, which is essential for outdoor work in the unpredictable British climate. The fabric's natural resilience means it can withstand the rigours of a manual trade, while the smooth finish prevents it from looking worn or tired after a few weeks on the job.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This item is available with both print and embroidery customisation.

Embroidery delivers a textured, premium appearance — ideal for logos and names — and stands up to repeated washing without fading. This method is often preferred for a high-end, professional finish on the left chest or arm.

Alternatively, print is better suited to large, bold designs and a broader colour range, making it a practical choice for high-visibility branding on the back of the jacket.

Our in-house team, established in 1976, handles all customisation in our Telford facility to ensure your branding meets our exacting standards and represents your business perfectly.

Use Cases

This jacket is an excellent choice for site managers, surveyors, or any tradesperson who requires a layer that looks professional while providing practical protection. It is particularly effective for those transitioning between the office and the field, providing a neat appearance that suits both environments.

Why MyWorkwear

At MyWorkwear, we have been perfecting the art of workwear since 1976. Based in Telford, our expert team combines decades of heritage with modern expertise to deliver garments that truly work as hard as you do. We understand that your workwear is an investment in your brand's reputation.

Practical Advice

Given the medium-weight nature of the fabric, we recommend choosing your standard size for a neat fit over a shirt or polo. If you intend to wear a heavy sweatshirt or jumper underneath during the winter months, you may wish to consider sizing up to ensure full range of movement when reaching or lifting.

Caring for your product

To maintain the technical performance and professional finish of your softshell jacket, proper care is essential. Ignoring these guidelines can lead to a loss of the fabric's protective properties and may affect the longevity of your custom branding.

We recommend a domestic wash at a moderate temperature. Using excessively high temperatures can damage the bonding between the fabric layers, potentially causing the jacket to lose its shape and wind-resistant qualities. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can clog the technical fibres and reduce breathability.

Do not use bleach on this garment. Bleach will degrade the polyester fibres and cause the colours to fade prematurely, which will undermine the professional appearance of your uniform.

When drying, it is best to air dry the jacket. High heat from a tumble dryer can cause shrinkage and may damage the adhesive used in printed logos, leading to peeling or cracking. If ironing is required, use a cool setting and avoid direct contact with any printed or embroidered areas.
