Product Overview
The ProRTX High Visibility Long Sleeve Polo (RX715) is a technical garment designed for professionals who require the highest level of visibility without compromising on comfort or a professional aesthetic. Providing Class 3 protection, this polo is an essential piece of equipment for those working in high-risk environments where being seen is a safety priority. The addition of long sleeves offers extra coverage and warmth, while the lightweight, breathable fabric ensures the wearer remains comfortable throughout the working day.
Key Features
- Certified to EN ISO 20471:2013+A1:2016 Class 3, providing the maximum level of visibility for hazardous work sites.
- The Orange variant is compliant with RIS-3279-TOM ISSUE 1:2016, making it suitable for use within the UK railway industry.
- Three-button placket with a contrast ribbed collar and buttons, offering a smart appearance that elevates standard safety wear.
- Side seam vents incorporated into the design to improve airflow and allow for a greater range of movement during physical tasks.
- Twin-needle stitching on the shoulders, sleeves, and hem, providing reinforced durability to ensure the garment withstands the rigours of daily wear.
Design & Performance
Constructed from 100% Polyester Birdseye fabric, this polo shirt is engineered for performance. The Birdseye weave is inherently breathable and lightweight, helping to manage moisture and keep the wearer cool when active. A significant design feature is the application of the reflective tape; it is designed to finish just before the side seam. This minor but crucial adjustment ensures a more flexible fit and prevents the garment from feeling restrictive, which is often a common complaint with standard high-visibility clothing. The combination of high-contrast fluorescent fabric and over-the-shoulder reflective tape ensures visibility from all angles.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The ProRTX Long Sleeve Polo is an ideal canvas for corporate branding. We recommend embroidery for company logos and staff names to achieve a distinguished, professional finish that is exceptionally durable. For larger, more complex graphics or high-impact messaging on the back of the garment, our technical printing service provides a sharp and vibrant result. All customisation is managed in-house at our Telford facility, where our team has been delivering expert workwear solutions since 1976.
Use Cases
This garment is specifically designed for workers in construction, road maintenance, and the rail industry who must adhere to strict safety regulations. Its professional collar and placket make it a preferred choice for site supervisors and managers who need to be both compliant and presentable. The long-sleeve design is particularly beneficial for those working in outdoor environments where extra protection from the elements is required.

Practical Advice
Available in an inclusive size range from S to 5XL, this polo is designed to accommodate various body types. When selecting your size, consider that this garment is often worn as a base or mid-layer. If you intend to wear it over other clothing during colder months, you may wish to account for this in your sizing choice. The lightweight nature of the Birdseye polyester makes it particularly easy to layer under a heavier high-visibility jacket or waterproof coat.
Caring for your product
To ensure the continued performance and safety compliance of this garment, it should be machine washed at 40°C. This temperature is sufficient to remove workplace grime while protecting the integrity of the reflective tape and the fluorescent dyes in the fabric.
Do not use bleach, as this will degrade the polyester fibres and significantly reduce the visibility and effectiveness of the high-contrast fabric. To maintain the shape and longevity of any customisations, do not tumble dry; instead, allow the garment to air dry naturally.
This garment must not be ironed. The application of high heat can melt the synthetic Birdseye fabric and cause permanent damage to the reflective tape, which would compromise its ability to reflect light. Furthermore, do not dry clean, as the industrial chemicals used in the process can interfere with the technical properties of the safety wear.
