Product Overview
The T747 WX3 Industrial Wash Trousers represent a significant advancement in workwear engineering. Designed specifically for environments where hygiene and cleanliness are paramount, these trousers are built to withstand the punishing cycles of industrial laundering without losing their structural integrity or professional finish. Constructed from a specialised Titanmill Plus Stretch Durawash fabric, they provide the perfect balance between the ruggedness of traditional work trousers and the modern requirement for flexibility and comfort throughout a long shift.
Key Features
- Industrial Laundry Certification: Engineered to remain stable and durable even after repeated high-temperature industrial washes and drying cycles.
- Titanmill Plus Stretch Fabric: A sophisticated blend that offers the durability of polyester with the natural breathability of cotton and the essential flex of elastane.
- Reinforced Construction: The polycotton canvas is chosen for its high resistance to abrasion, ensuring the garment survives the daily rigours of a manual workplace.
- Knee Protection Compatibility: Certified to EN 14404 Level 0 when used with appropriate knee pads, providing necessary protection for those frequently working at floor level.
Design & Performance
The performance of the WX3 trousers is rooted in its technical fabric composition: 65% polyester, 33% cotton, and 2% elastane. This medium-weight material ensures the garment is substantial enough to protect the wearer while remaining breathable. The inclusion of elastane is particularly critical; it allows the trousers to move with the body rather than resisting it, reducing the risk of fabric fatigue and increasing wearer comfort during strenuous tasks. The 'Durawash' finish ensures that the deep black colour and fabric tension are maintained even when subjected to intense cleaning processes.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The flat surface of the Titanmill canvas makes these trousers an excellent candidate for professional branding. For a truly authoritative and long-lasting appearance, we recommend embroidery. It is ideal for company logos or staff names, providing a textured, premium finish that mirrors the durability of the trousers themselves. Alternatively, for larger, high-impact branding, our high-quality print processes can be applied. All customisation is handled at our Telford facility by an expert team that has been perfecting these techniques since 1976, ensuring your branding is as robust as the garment it sits on.
Use Cases
These trousers are primarily designed for sectors where clothes get dirty and need aggressive cleaning. They are an essential choice for industrial logistics, facility management, large-scale manufacturing, and heavy engineering. The professional cut also makes them suitable for site managers and surveyors who require a garment that looks smart but can handle the grit of an active construction site.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, consider the intended use of the knee pad pockets. A correct fit is essential to ensure that knee pads sit at the correct height for protection. Because these trousers are designed for industrial washing, they are slightly more resistant to shrinkage than standard retail garments, but we always recommend checking our size guide to ensure a comfortable fit for your specific build.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high performance and structural integrity of these trousers, specific laundering protocols must be followed. Failure to adhere to these instructions may result in premature wear or a reduction in the fabric's protective qualities.
For heavy-duty cleaning, these garments are certified for industrial laundry at temperatures up to 75°C. This ensures thorough sanitisation and the removal of stubborn workplace contaminants without compromising the fabric's strength. When drying, an industrial dry temperature of 155°C or a normal domestic tumble dry is permitted, reflecting the garment's superior heat resistance.
Do not use bleach on this garment. Harsh chemical bleaching agents will break down the polycotton fibres and cause the black pigment to fade or patch, undermining your professional appearance. If ironing is required, use a maximum soleplate temperature of 150°C. Excessive heat from a domestic iron can damage the elastane fibres, leading to a loss of the garment's stretch properties. Finally, these trousers are suitable for professional dry cleaning using Tetrachloroethene under normal processes for specific stain removal.
