Product Overview
The DX4 Lightweight Stretch Work Jacket is a technically advanced garment designed for professionals who demand both agility and durability. Engineered as a high-performance zip base layer, this jacket is constructed from Titanmill Ultra Stretch fabric, which allows for an exceptional range of motion while assisting with body temperature control. Its lightweight construction makes it an ideal choice for active environments where maintaining a professional appearance without the bulk of a traditional jacket is paramount.
Key Features
Body-mapped design: This innovative construction ensures the garment moves in harmony with the natural contours of the body, providing targeted breathability and comfort during strenuous activity.
Raglan sleeves: By removing seams from the top of the shoulder, raglan sleeves offer increased fluid movement and prevent discomfort when carrying tools or equipment.
Full front zip with chin guard: The integrated chin guard protects the skin from irritation, while the rubber puller ensures easy operation even when wearing work gloves.
Zipped hand and chest pockets: These secure compartments provide essential storage for mobile devices and small tools, keeping them safe and accessible throughout the working day.
Design & Performance
Performance is at the heart of the DX480, which utilizes a sophisticated blend of 92% Nylon and 8% Elastane. This fabric, known as Titanmill Ultra Stretch, provides a superior strength-to-weight ratio compared to standard materials, ensuring the jacket can withstand the rigours of the job site without losing its shape. The high elastane content allows the jacket to stretch and recover instantly, while the nylon provides a smooth, professional finish that is highly resistant to wear and tear. The All Black colourway ensures a consistent, corporate look that fits seamlessly into any modern workwear uniform.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The smooth surface and high-quality weave of the DX4 jacket make it a premier choice for customisation. For a refined, permanent professional look, embroidery is highly recommended for company logos or staff names on the chest. If you require larger, high-impact branding across the back, our advanced printing techniques provide a sharp, vibrant finish. Our in-house team, based in Telford since 1976, manages the entire customisation process to ensure your branding is as durable as the garment itself.
Use Cases
This jacket is ideally suited for tradespeople, field engineers, and warehouse supervisors who require a versatile layer that can adapt to changing activity levels. It is particularly effective for those working in temperature-variable environments where mobility is the primary concern.

Practical Advice
Given its high-stretch, body-mapped design, this jacket is intended to be worn as a close-fitting layer. If you intend to wear it over multiple layers of clothing, you may wish to consider your sizing carefully to ensure the stretch properties can function correctly. It serves as an excellent mid-layer beneath a heavier coat in winter or a standalone outer layer during milder seasons.
Caring for your product
To maintain the technical integrity of the Titanmill Ultra Stretch fabric and ensure your custom branding remains vibrant, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 30°C using a mild process. Exceeding this temperature can damage the elastane fibres, causing the garment to lose its recovery properties and shape.
Bleaching must be avoided at all costs. The chemicals in bleach will break down the nylon fibres and severely damage both the fabric and any printed or embroidered logos.
This garment should not be tumble dried or ironed. The heat from these machines can melt the synthetic fibres and destroy the high-stretch capabilities of the jacket. For best results, we recommend drip line drying, which allows the jacket to return to its natural shape without the risk of heat-induced shrinkage or damage.
Finally, do not dry clean this product. The solvents used in dry cleaning are too aggressive for the elastane blend and will degrade the garment's performance over time.
