Product Overview
The WX2 Eco Fleece is a sophisticated choice for those seeking a balance between environmental responsibility and high-performance workwear. Part of the All Weather Protection collection, this jacket is constructed from GRS certified recycled polyester, offering a sustainable solution without compromising on technical quality. The design integrates innovative stretch panelling with a durable fleece body, resulting in a garment that looks sharp in a professional setting while providing the flexibility required for active duty.
Key Features
- The inclusion of GRS certified recycled polyester fleece ensures a reduced environmental impact while maintaining excellent thermal insulation and durability.
- Innovative stretch panelling is strategically placed to enhance mobility, allowing the wearer to move freely without the restriction often found in traditional fleece jackets.
- An integrated anti-pill finish prevents the fabric from bobbling after repeated wear, ensuring the garment maintains its professional appearance over time.
- The smart, contemporary design makes it suitable for a wide range of industries, providing a unified and modern look for your team.
Design & Performance
This medium-weight fleece is engineered for longevity. The 100% recycled polyester fabric is chosen for its resilience and soft-to-the-touch feel, providing comfort throughout long shifts. The anti-pill treatment is a critical feature for workwear, as it maintains the smooth surface of the fabric, which is essential for both aesthetics and the longevity of the garment. The stretch panels are not merely a design choice; they are a functional addition that allows the jacket to adapt to the body's movements, making it an ideal piece for those in dynamic roles where ease of movement is paramount.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The WX2 Eco Fleece is an excellent candidate for custom branding. For a high-end, durable finish, we recommend embroidery. This method is particularly effective for company logos and individual names, as the stitching sits perfectly against the fleece texture, providing a three-dimensional, professional look. Our in-house team in Telford has been specialising in this craft since 1976, ensuring that every stitch meets our rigorous quality standards.
Alternatively, for larger and more vibrant designs, high-quality printing is available. This is often preferred for bold back-branding or promotional messaging. Regardless of the method chosen, the fabric’s quality ensures that your branding remains clear and well-defined, helping your business project a superior image.
Use Cases
Given its professional silhouette and functional stretch, this fleece is ideally suited for supervisors, facilities management, and logistics personnel. It performs exceptionally well as an outer layer in mild weather or as a dependable mid-layer during the winter months. Its smart appearance also makes it a popular choice for customer-facing roles where staff need to stay warm while maintaining a polished corporate identity.

Practical Advice
This fleece features a regular fit, but thanks to the stretch panelling, it offers a more forgiving silhouette than standard fleeces. If you intend to wear it as a mid-layer over thicker shirts, you may wish to consider your usual size, but if you prefer a more tailored, athletic fit for active work, the stretch properties will accommodate your movement even in a closer fit.
Caring for your product
To ensure your WX2 Eco Fleece continues to perform and look its best, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures or using aggressive cycles can damage the recycled fibres and negatively impact the life of your embroidery or print.
It is important to avoid the use of bleach, as this will degrade the fabric's anti-pill finish and lead to premature fading of the black colour. Similarly, this garment should not be dry cleaned, as the chemicals involved can be too harsh for the recycled polyester material.
We advise that you do not tumble dry this jacket; instead, it should be line dried. Exposure to the high heat of a tumble dryer can cause shrinkage and distort the stretch panels. For the same reason, you should avoid ironing the garment, as direct heat can melt synthetic fibres and damage any applied branding.
