Product Overview

The Nimbus Women’s Timberlake modern sherpa fleece is a sophisticated solution for professionals seeking superior warmth without the bulk of traditional outerwear. This heavyweight fleece is designed with a contemporary silhouette that balances style with high-performance thermal retention. Crafted from 100% recycled polyester, it offers a conscientious choice for businesses looking to reduce their environmental impact while maintaining a professional image. The high-pile sherpa fabric provides a soft, luxurious feel that remains breathable and quick-drying, making it an essential layer for the modern working wardrobe.

Key Features

  • Zip-Closure Chest and Side Pockets: These provide secure storage for essential equipment and personal items, ensuring they remain protected while you are on the move.

  • Extended Backtail: The thoughtful design includes a longer rear hem, offering increased coverage and protection from drafts during physical activity or when bending.

  • Recycled Fabric Construction: Utilising materials diverted from textile waste and plastic bottles, this fleece supports your company's sustainability goals without sacrificing durability.

Design & Performance

The Timberlake fleece is engineered for both durability and comfort. The heavyweight sherpa fabric is specifically chosen for its high-pile texture, which effectively traps air to provide excellent insulation in cold conditions. Unlike standard synthetic fleeces, this garment remains highly breathable, allowing moisture to escape during periods of high activity. The inclusion of a 100% polyester pocket lining adds an extra layer of structural integrity and comfort. Its modern, cool appearance ensures it looks just as appropriate in a client meeting as it does on a site visit, providing a versatile solution for varied work environments.

Customisation: Embroidery Only

Due to the deep, textured pile of the sherpa fabric, this garment is suited exclusively to embroidery. The nature of the fleece surface does not allow for the smooth application required for print methods; however, it provides an excellent substrate for high-density stitching. Our in-house embroidery team, established in 1976, utilizes professional-grade techniques to ensure your logo sits perfectly within the pile. Embroidery offers a premium, long-lasting finish that reflects the quality of your brand and withstands the rigours of daily wear and industrial laundering far better than alternative customisation methods.

Use Cases

This fleece is an ideal choice for women working in premium retail, estate management, or outdoor event coordination. Its professional appearance also makes it suitable for corporate branding in office environments where temperature control may be variable, or as a high-quality uniform piece for staff in the heritage and leisure sectors.

Practical Advice

The Timberlake fleece is designed with a modern fit. We recommend checking the sizing guide carefully, particularly if you intend to wear the fleece over a medium-weight sweatshirt or knitwear. The extended backtail is a functional addition, but for the best thermal performance, ensure the garment is sized to sit close to the body without restricting movement.

Caring for your product

To maintain the thermal performance and appearance of the high-pile sherpa, we recommend a domestic wash at a moderate temperature. This helps to preserve the synthetic fibres and ensures the recycled polyester retains its quick-drying properties. Always wash the garment inside out to protect the embroidery from abrasion against other items in the load.

We advise against the use of bleach or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can degrade the recycled fibres and cause the colours of your embroidered logo to fade. Similarly, air drying is preferred over tumble drying; excessive heat can melt the fine synthetic fibres of the sherpa pile, leading to a loss of softness and potentially damaging the structural integrity of the stitching.
