Caring for your product
Maintaining the performance of these technical rain trousers is essential for ensuring they continue to provide reliable weather protection and safety visibility.
We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures can damage the PU coating, which would compromise the garment's waterproof capabilities and shorten its service life.
Do not use bleach under any circumstances. Harsh bleaching agents will degrade the polyester fibres and cause the high-visibility orange colour to fade, which may result in the garment no longer meeting safety standards.
Avoid tumble drying. Instead, the trousers should be drip line dried. Subjecting the fabric to the high heat of a tumble dryer can cause the Sealtex material to shrink and may cause the reflective tape to lose its adhesive properties.
Do not iron this garment. The heat from an iron will melt the PU coating and destroy the waterproof seal. Similarly, dry cleaning should be avoided as the chemical solvents can strip away the protective coating.
Please note that this garment is certified for a maximum of 25 washes. Exceeding this limit can reduce the effectiveness of the reflective tape and the high-visibility pigment, so we recommend monitoring the garment's condition regularly.
