Product Overview
The PW3 Rain Trousers represent a sophisticated approach to wet weather protection, moving beyond the limitations of standard waterproof gear. These are highly innovative, waterproof, and extremely breathable trousers designed for the professional who requires high-performance protection without sacrificing a contemporary aesthetic. Featuring a stylish slimline fit, these trousers are engineered to ensure the wearer remains dry and comfortable in challenging conditions while maintaining a sharp, professional appearance on-site.
Key Features
- Integrated external kneepad pockets provide a dedicated space for joint protection, allowing you to work comfortably at ground level for extended periods.
- Extra-long side leg zips are included to facilitate ease of use, allowing the wearer to take the trousers on and off without the inconvenience of removing their footwear.
- An elevated padded back panel keeps the lower back warm and shielded, providing essential protection against draughts and moisture when bending or reaching.
- Multiple secure storage options, including zipped pockets and a dedicated rule pocket, ensure that your essential tools and personal items remain safe and accessible.
- Reflective piping is subtly integrated into the design to enhance visibility in low-light environments, adding an extra layer of safety to your workday.
Design & Performance
Constructed from a robust 300D Oxford weave polyester, these trousers are built for durability in demanding environments. The fabric features a double PU coating for superior water resistance, complemented by a stain-resistant finish that helps the garment stay clean for longer. Despite their sturdy construction, the material remains highly breathable, allowing internal moisture to escape and preventing the clammy feeling often associated with waterproof clothing. The slimline design provides a modern silhouette that moves with the wearer, reducing bulk and improving overall mobility.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
These trousers are well-suited for customisation, allowing you to align your outdoor protection with your company branding. Embroidery is an excellent choice for logos and staff names, providing a durable and professional finish that stands up to the rigours of outdoor work. For larger, more prominent branding, our high-quality printing process offers a bold and clear result. All customisation is handled by our expert in-house team in Telford, who have been perfecting the art of workwear branding since 1976.
Use Cases
These trousers are ideal for tradespeople, site supervisors, and engineers who work outdoors and require reliable protection from the elements. They are particularly effective for those who transition frequently between tasks and need a versatile, waterproof solution that doesn't hinder movement or look out of place during client meetings.

Practical Advice
The slimline fit of the PW3 range provides a more tailored look than traditional over-trousers. We recommend considering the thickness of your base layers when choosing your size to ensure you maintain a full range of movement. The side leg zips are a particularly practical feature for those who need to react quickly to changing weather conditions without stopping to remove boots.
Caring for your product
To maintain the technical performance and waterproof integrity of these trousers, we recommend a mild domestic wash at a maximum of 40°C. Exceeding this temperature can damage the PU coating and may affect the adhesion of any custom branding.
Do not use bleach on this garment, as it will degrade the fabric fibres and compromise the stain-resistant finish. Similarly, dry cleaning should be avoided to prevent chemical damage to the waterproof membrane.
We advise against tumble drying; instead, the trousers should be drip line dried. High heat from a tumble dryer can cause the waterproof layers to delaminate. For the same reason, do not iron this product, as direct heat will damage the technical fabric and any applied logos.
