Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility performance and structural integrity of this garment, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a very mild process. Exceeding this temperature can damage the adhesive bond of the reflective tape and cause premature fading of the hi-vis pigments.
Bleaching agents must be avoided at all costs. Bleach will strip the fluorescent properties from the fabric, rendering the garment non-compliant with safety standards and potentially damaging the fibres.
We advise that the garment is drip-line dried. Mechanical tumble drying can cause shrinkage and subject the reflective segmented tape to excessive heat, which may lead to cracking or peeling over time.
Do not iron this t-shirt. Direct heat from an iron will melt the reflective tape and damage the polyester content of the fabric. Additionally, this garment is not suitable for dry cleaning, as the chemicals used can degrade the specialised HiVisTex Pro tape. Please note that this garment has a maximum lifespan of 50 washes to ensure the visibility remains within safety tolerances.
