Product Overview

The AWDis Ecologie EA006 Arrow represents a significant step forward in sustainable workwear, blending a contemporary aesthetic with environmentally conscious manufacturing. This heavyweight t-shirt is designed with a modern, oversized silhouette that offers a boxy fit and a dropped shoulder, providing a professional yet relaxed appearance for modern teams. Built from a sophisticated blend of certified recycled cotton and polyester, it provides a high-quality canvas for branding while meeting the demands of those seeking a reduced environmental footprint. The inclusion of elastane ensures the garment retains its shape over time, making it a reliable addition to any professional wardrobe.

Key Features
  • Oversized, Boxy Fit: Designed with a dropped shoulder and longer sleeve for a contemporary, sculpted look that provides ample room for movement.
  • Sustainable Fabric Blend: Utilises certified recycled cotton and polyester, reducing environmental impact without compromising on the luxurious hand feel.
  • Twin-Needle Stitching: Reinforced stitching at the sleeves and hem ensures the garment can withstand the rigours of daily wear and frequent laundering.
  • Taped Neck: Provides additional comfort and helps the neckline maintain its structural integrity, preventing sagging over time.
  • Tag-Free Design: Featuring only a size label, this garment is ideal for businesses looking to add bespoke internal branding.

Design & Performance

The performance of the EA006 is rooted in its substantial fabric weight and composition. The 48% recycled cotton provides natural breathability and a premium texture, while the 47% recycled polyester adds essential durability and moisture-wicking properties. A crucial 5% elastane is integrated into the weave, which prevents the garment from becoming misshapen—a common issue with standard oversized tees. This technical blend ensures that even after a full day on site or in a creative studio, the t-shirt maintains its boxy profile and professional drape.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The heavyweight nature of this fabric makes it an exceptional candidate for both print and embroidery. The stable surface is perfect for high-definition screen printing or DTF (Direct to Film) transfers, particularly for large, bold graphics that suit the oversized aesthetic. For a more traditional and enduring professional appearance, the fabric's density easily supports complex embroidery designs without pulling or puckering. At MyWorkwear, our Telford-based team—operating since 1976—meticulously handles all customisation in-house to ensure your logo is applied with absolute precision.

Use Cases

This garment is particularly suited for staff in creative agencies, modern retail environments, or hospitality sectors where a contemporary, high-fashion silhouette is preferred over traditional fits. It also serves as an excellent choice for promotional events where a premium, eco-friendly message is central to the brand identity. Because of its durability and weight, it is also a practical choice for tradespeople who prefer a less restrictive fit during their workday.

Why MyWorkwear

With a heritage stretching back to 1976, MyWorkwear has decades of experience in selecting and customising the finest garments for the UK workforce. Based in Telford, we combine traditional expertise with modern techniques to ensure your team looks professional. We understand that your workwear is a reflection of your brand, which is why we only recommend products that meet our high standards for durability and finish.

Practical Advice

When selecting your size, please note that this garment is intentionally designed to be oversized. If you prefer a more traditional, closer fit, you may wish to consider sizing down. The substantial fabric makes it an excellent layering piece; it can be worn comfortably over a thermal base layer in cooler conditions or on its own as a robust outer layer in warmer weather.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and the vibrant finish of your customised garment, we recommend a machine wash at 30°C. This lower temperature protects the recycled fibres and ensures that any applied print or embroidery remains intact and sharp for a longer period.

Chlorine-based bleach should be avoided at all costs, as it will break down the recycled polyester and elastane fibres, leading to a loss of shape and potential discolouration of the fabric and your logo.

When drying, use a low heat setting in the tumble dryer. Excessive heat can cause the fabric to shrink or damage the adhesive used in printed designs. Similarly, if ironing is required, use a low heat setting and avoid ironing directly over any printed areas to prevent distortion.

Dry cleaning is not recommended for this product, as the harsh chemical processes can degrade the specialised fabric blend and impact the longevity of the customisation.
