When fitting these filters, always perform a seal check as per your mask's instructions to ensure no air is bypassing the filtration system. While these are lightweight, remember that they must always be used in pairs to maintain the correct balance and airflow resistance. If you notice an increase in breathing resistance, it is a clear indicator that the filters have reached their capacity and should be replaced immediately.
Caring for your product
To maintain the performance of your respiratory filters, they must be stored correctly when not in use. We recommend keeping them in a sealed container or bag in a cool, dry place, away from contaminated atmospheres. This prevents the filtration media from absorbing particles or moisture from the environment while the mask is in storage, which would otherwise prematurely shorten the filter's lifespan.
Never attempt to wash or clean the internal filtration material with water or compressed air. Such actions will destroy the electrostatic properties of the P3 media, rendering the filter useless and dangerously compromising your safety. The external plastic casing may be wiped with a damp cloth if necessary, but ensure no liquid enters the filter intake or the bayonet port.
