Product Overview
The Madrid Hi-Vis Contrast Bomber Jacket is a well-engineered garment that successfully bridges the gap between modern style and industrial functionality. Designed with a contemporary fit, it moves away from the traditional bulky work jacket to offer a more streamlined appearance without compromising on safety. The Orange and Navy contrast design is not merely aesthetic; it provides high visibility in hazardous environments while the darker navy panels are strategically placed to mask dirt in high-contact areas, ensuring you maintain a professional appearance throughout the working day.
Key Features
- Kingsmill Polycotton Fabric: The 65% polyester and 35% cotton blend offers the perfect balance of comfort and exceptional abrasion resistance, ensuring the jacket stands up to the rigours of daily wear.
- Contemporary Smartphone Pocket: Specifically dimensioned to accommodate modern mobile devices, this secure storage ensures your technology is protected and accessible.
- Secure Multi-Pocket Storage: Several handy pockets provide ample space for essential tools and personal items, keeping them safe while you are on the move.
- High-Contrast Design: The navy contrast panels help the garment look cleaner for longer by hiding grime, which is particularly useful for those in hands-on trades.
Design & Performance
Constructed from medium-weight Kingsmill fabric, this jacket is designed for longevity. The 65% polyester content provides the structural integrity needed to resist tearing and scuffing, while the 35% cotton ensures the garment remains breathable during physical exertion. This fabric choice is specifically intended for environments where durability is non-negotiable. The bomber-style cut allows for excellent freedom of movement, making it a reliable choice for workers who are frequently climbing, reaching, or lifting.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The Madrid Hi-Vis Jacket is an excellent canvas for your company branding. For a superior, long-lasting finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos and staff names; it provides a textured, high-end look that withstands industrial laundering. If you require large, vibrant branding on the back of the jacket, our high-quality print process is an ideal alternative. All customisation is performed by our expert in-house team at our Telford facility, drawing on nearly five decades of experience since our establishment in 1976.
Use Cases
This jacket is ideally suited for professionals in construction, logistics, and roadside maintenance where high visibility is a safety requirement. The stylish fit also makes it a popular choice for site managers and supervisors who need to meet safety standards while maintaining a sharp corporate image. It is a versatile piece of essential equipment for any workforce operating in high-traffic or low-light environments.

Practical Advice
The contemporary fit of this bomber jacket is designed to be sleek; however, if you intend to wear thick thermal layers or several sweatshirts underneath during winter months, you may wish to consider your sizing requirements carefully to ensure maximum comfort. The elasticated elements of the bomber style provide a secure fit that helps to trap warmth, making it an excellent outer layer in transitional weather.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility properties and structural integrity of your jacket, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum of 40°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures can damage the reflective elements and the synthetic fibres in the Kingsmill fabric.
Do not use bleach, as this will cause the high-visibility orange pigment to fade and weaken the fabric's durability. The jacket should not be tumble dried; instead, we recommend drip line drying. This prevents heat-induced shrinkage and protects the lifespan of any custom print or embroidery.
If ironing is required, use a maximum soleplate temperature of 150°C. Avoiding high heat is essential to prevent scorching the polyester components. Please note that this garment has a maximum limit of 50 washes; exceeding this can reduce the effectiveness of the high-visibility materials, meaning the jacket may no longer meet safety standards. Do not dry clean, as the chemicals used can degrade the reflective tape.
