Caring for your product
Maintaining the technical properties of your baffle jacket is vital for ensuring it continues to provide thermal protection and weather resistance.
We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. High-temperature washes can damage the TPU membrane and cause the InsulatexPro filling to clump, which will reduce the jacket's ability to trap heat.
Do not bleach this garment. Bleach will break down the synthetic fibres and the TPU membrane, leading to a loss of water resistance and colour fading. Similarly, do not dry clean, as the solvents used in that process are too harsh for the bonded fabrics.
After washing, the jacket should be dried flat. Do not tumble dry, as the heat can melt or distort the polyester shell. Drying flat helps the insulation maintain its distribution across the baffles. Finally, do not iron; the synthetic materials and internal membrane are not heat-resistant, and direct contact with an iron will cause permanent damage.
