Product Overview

The KX3 Enhanced Women's Flexi Work Leggings represent a modern evolution in professional attire, merging the agility of performance sportswear with the rugged durability required for the industrial workplace. Designed specifically for the female form, these leggings offer a streamlined silhouette that does not compromise on protection or functionality. They are particularly noteworthy for meeting the EN 17353 Type B2 standard, providing enhanced visibility for workers in medium-risk environments where being seen is a safety priority.

Key Features
  • Reinforced Ripstop Stretch Panelling: Strategic panels are integrated into high-stress areas to provide exceptional durability against abrasions while allowing the fabric to move with the wearer.
  • High-Waisted Design: The elevated waistband ensures the leggings remain securely in place during repetitive bending or stretching, preventing slipping even when the pockets are in use.
  • Integrated Side Pockets: Discreetly positioned pockets provide secure and accessible storage for mobile devices and essential tools without adding unnecessary bulk.
  • EN 17353 Type B2 Certification: This standard ensures the garment provides enhanced visibility through its design, making it a vital piece of safety equipment for varied lighting conditions.

Design & Performance

Engineered for those who find traditional work trousers restrictive, these leggings utilize a substantial, high-quality fabric blend that offers both support and flexibility. The material is thick enough to provide complete coverage and warmth in outdoor or draughty warehouse settings, yet remains breathable enough for high-activity roles. The performance is further elevated by the ripstop panelling, which acts as a technical shield against the snags and tears commonly encountered in utility and warehouse environments, significantly extending the garment's operational life.

Why No Customisation?

To preserve the technical integrity and safety certifications of these leggings, we do not offer customisation. The high-stretch nature of the performance fabric means that traditional embroidery would likely cause discomfort against the skin and potentially lead to fabric failure around the stitching. Furthermore, heat-applied logos may crack or peel when the garment is stretched to its limits. By providing these as-is, we ensure you receive the full benefit of the garment's engineered fit and EN 17353 safety features.

Use Cases

These leggings are an excellent choice for professionals in the utilities, logistics, and warehousing sectors who require maximum range of motion. They are also perfectly suited for tradespeople working in tight or awkward spaces where the bulk of zips and buttons found on standard trousers would be cumbersome. The enhanced visibility features make them particularly useful for those working in transport hubs or roadside utility sites where visibility is a constant concern.

Practical Advice

For the most effective performance, we recommend choosing your standard size; the compression elements are designed to support the wearer without being overly restrictive. These leggings are versatile enough to be worn as a primary layer in temperate conditions or as a high-performance base layer under waterproof overtrousers during the colder months. Ensure that the reflective elements are kept clean to maintain the enhanced visibility benefits of the EN 17353 certification.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and the visibility properties of these leggings, they should be laundered with care. We recommend a domestic wash at a moderate temperature to ensure dirt is removed without degrading the elastic fibres that provide the garment's unique fit. Avoid the use of biological detergents containing bleach, as these can weaken the ripstop panels and dull the appearance of the fabric.

Tumble drying should be avoided where possible, as excessive heat can cause the technical fibres to become brittle, leading to a loss of elasticity. Instead, air drying is the preferred method to ensure the leggings retain their shape and performance characteristics for as long as possible. Always ensure the garment is fully dry before storage to prevent any degradation of the synthetic fibres.
