Product Overview
The Iona Lite Winter Trousers are a robust solution for professionals requiring protection against both the elements and low-visibility environments. These trousers are engineered to offer a comprehensive defense in foul weather, combining a waterproof outer shell with a thermal padded interior. The design prioritises practicality without compromising on the safety features necessary for demanding worksites.
Key Features
- Strategic reflective tape is applied to the lower legs to ensure the wearer remains visible in low-light conditions, providing an essential safety barrier.
- The integrated padding is designed to trap body heat effectively, ensuring you remain warm and comfortable during prolonged exposure to cold temperatures.
- A double PU coating on the exterior fabric provides superior water resistance, preventing moisture from penetrating the garment even in heavy rain.
- The stain-resistant finish acts as a protective layer, repelling dirt and liquids to maintain a clean appearance throughout the working day.
- Elasticated waist sections allow for a flexible and secure fit, accommodating movement and layering without restriction.
Design & Performance
Constructed from high-performance 300D Oxford weave polyester, the shell of these trousers is built to withstand the rigours of industrial use. This fabric choice ensures high durability and resistance to abrasions, while the double PU coating provides the necessary waterproofing for outdoor tasks. The interior features a smooth polyester lining and a substantial insulating filling, which provides thermal protection without making the garment feel overly cumbersome. This balance of a sturdy exterior and a soft, warm interior makes them a reliable choice for winter shifts.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
These trousers are suitable for both print and embroidery, allowing you to align them with your corporate identity. Embroidery is recommended for a sophisticated professional appearance, typically used for company logos or staff names on the thigh area. For larger, more prominent branding or safety messaging, our high-quality print process ensures a bold finish that remains visible. All customisation is managed by our expert in-house team in Telford, who have been perfecting garment branding since 1976.
Use Cases
The Iona Lite Winter Trousers are ideally suited for staff working in logistics, construction, or transport sectors where visibility and warmth are paramount. They are particularly effective for those working in unheated warehouses or outdoor yards during the winter months, providing a reliable shield against wind, rain, and cold.

Practical Advice
For the best fit, we recommend selecting your standard size as these trousers are designed to be worn over base layers. When layering, ensure your base materials are moisture-wicking to complement the thermal properties of the trousers and prevent overheating during physical exertion.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility and waterproof properties of these trousers, it is essential to follow the care instructions carefully. Proper maintenance ensures the garment continues to perform as expected throughout its service life.
We recommend a mild process wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Exceeding this temperature can damage the PU coating and reduce the effectiveness of the stain-resistant finish. Please note that these trousers are rated for a maximum of 25 washes to ensure the reflective tape remains compliant with safety standards.
Do not use bleach, as this will degrade the polyester fibres and dull the reflective elements. The trousers should not be tumble dried; instead, they should be drip-dried on a line to preserve the integrity of the waterproof membrane. Ironing is strictly prohibited as the direct heat will melt the PU coating and synthetic padding. Finally, do not dry clean this garment, as the chemical solvents used in the process can strip away the protective finishes.
