Product Overview
The Iona 4-in-1 Bomber Jacket is a masterclass in adaptability, designed to provide comprehensive protection across all four seasons. This versatile garment allows the wearer to transition seamlessly from a fully insulated winter jacket to a lightweight bodywarmer, ensuring comfort in Britain's notoriously unpredictable weather. By integrating a detachable fur lining, a removable collar, and zip-out sleeves, this jacket offers a level of utility that is rarely matched in standard workwear.
Key Features
- The 4-in-1 design allows for complete transformation between a jacket and a waistcoat, providing year-round value.
- Reflective tape is strategically applied to ensure increased visibility in low-light conditions, enhancing safety on-site.
- Multiple zipped outer and interior pockets offer secure storage for essential tools and personal items.
- A stain-resistant finish on the outer fabric ensures the jacket maintains a professional appearance even in demanding environments.
Design & Performance
Constructed from a heavy-duty 300D Oxford weave polyester, this jacket is built for longevity. The fabric features a double PU coating, which provides a robust barrier against water ingress while remaining flexible enough for daily movement. The substantial polyester fur lining offers exceptional thermal insulation, while the sleeves are equipped with additional filling to maintain warmth in the extremities. The inclusion of a stain-resistant finish means that oils and dirt are less likely to penetrate the fibres, extending the life of the garment.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The Iona Bomber Jacket is an excellent canvas for company branding. For a sophisticated and durable finish, we recommend embroidery. This method is particularly well-suited for company logos and staff names, providing a textured, high-quality appearance that withstands frequent laundering. If you require large, high-impact graphics, our thermal printing process offers vibrant colours and sharp detail. Our in-house team in Telford, with expertise dating back to 1976, handles all customisation to ensure your branding meets our rigorous standards.
Use Cases
Given its black colour and enhanced visibility features, this jacket is ideal for security personnel, logistics staff, and trade professionals who require a garment that can adapt to changing temperatures throughout a shift. It is equally at home on a construction site or in a warehouse environment where flexibility is key.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, consider the modular nature of the jacket. If you intend to wear the full fur lining and sleeves over heavy knitwear, you may find the generous 4XL fit provides the necessary room for movement. For those primarily using it as a bodywarmer, ensure the fit is snug enough to retain core body heat.
Caring for your product
To preserve the technical properties of the 300D fabric and the integrity of your custom branding, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Using a normal process ensures that dirt is removed without degrading the PU coating.
Avoid the use of bleach, as this will damage the polyester fibres and cause the reflective tape to lose its efficacy. The jacket should not be tumble dried; instead, we advise drip line drying. This prevents heat damage and shrinkage, allowing the garment to maintain its shape.
Do not iron or dry clean this jacket. High heat from an iron can melt the waterproof coating, and dry cleaning chemicals may strip the stain-resistant finish from the fabric.
